Now, under the hood, along with the classic 1.3 and 1.5-liter engines, a new one was installed - a 1-liter engine with elements made of aluminum and plastic, having three cylinders and producing 71 horsepower.

Generation 3 and 4

In 2010, a new generation was launched, which, although similar to the previous ones, had a completely new platform at its base. Under the hood were now 1.3 and 1.5-liter engines, working in tandem with a variator or "mechanics". The new generation "Yaris" received a more modern instrument panel, based on an electronic screen.

The fourth generation saw the light in 2020. Initially, it was equipped only with hybrid power units, and only after some time did the manufacturer begin to install classic engines. The car's equipment was again improved. It featured a multitude of assistants that optimized not only operational properties but also had a positive impact on the degree of safety.
