The Toyota Corolla Axio sedan joined the production lineup of the Japanese brand in 2012. In 2017, the sedan underwent fairly significant changes. A significant part of them concerned the body design, especially its front part. There appeared other radiator grilles and bumpers with a more massive air intake and decorative inserts with fog lights. It is worth noting the appearance in the list of versions of the WxB version, which added a spoiler to the trunk lid, a mesh instead of bars in the radiator grille, and different upholstery of seats and door cards. The salon changed minimally, where new decorative elements appeared. There were many more innovations in the equipment. The hybrid version with a 74-horsepower gasoline engine and a 61-horsepower electric motor received an electromechanical variator and an improved control system. This allowed reducing fuel consumption to 2.9 liters per 100 km. The standard equipment of this sedan implied the use of 15-inch discs and tires.
