Tyres Grenlander

The Grenlander brand belongs to the Chinese company of the same name, which is part of the Shandong Shitu Group, one of the largest tire manufacturers in China. The company was established in 2002, simultaneously with the start of construction of the plant, which was launched in 2007. The Grenlander brand is used in the production of tires for passenger cars, commercial and special equipment.

In this segment, the brand is represented by almost 30 models. The diversity is due to the fact that the manufacturer refers to this category not only tires for passenger cars but also for SUVs, crossovers, minivans, and small-capacity commercial vehicles. Accordingly, their operational properties also differ. The "highway" tires are notable for their fuel efficiency, comfortable quiet and smooth ride, stable traction, and ease of handling. In turn, the "off-road" line is distinguished by increased strength, the use of several tread patterns adapted to operation on various types of road surfaces. Commercial tires are characterized by increased carrying capacity, fuel efficiency, and high mileage compared to most competitors from other brands, even those that are considered "leading".

Currently, the manufacturer offers around 50 models for trucks and large-capacity buses. They belong to the following categories:

- for long-haul transportation;
- for regional transportation;
- for mixed operating conditions;
- for the mining industry.

All tires feature all-steel carcasses. The number of layers in the cord varies widely depending on the scope of use, providing either reduced rolling resistance or maximum strength. The tread patterns are also diverse. The manufacturer uses almost all types of them, which ensures that the tires have maximum efficiency in specific conditions. Another feature of the brand's truck tires is the increased depth of the tread pattern. Even the "long-haul" tires have this indicator of at least 16 mm, compared to the generally accepted standard of 12 mm. This significantly increases mileage and reduces the risk of tire damage.

A significant part of the brand's tire range is represented by models for special equipment used on construction and production sites with earth surfaces. Such tires are adapted for operation in front-end loaders, graders, wheel excavators, and various towed equipment. All models are distinguished by increased strength and resistance to damage, as well as improved traction and coupling properties on any earth surface.

In this segment, the manufacturer is represented by ten models. Most of them are designed for tractor agricultural equipment used for field work. Such tires are distinguished by directional tread patterns made of massive blocks with wide grooves between them. The range also includes tires for trailers and towed equipment. These models are characterized by low rolling resistance, increased carrying capacity, and stable traction.
