The Laufenn brand belongs to the South Korean company Hankook Tyres. In 2013, it invested $1.1 billion in the construction of a tire plant on the island of Java, intending to take advantage of low labor and land costs in Indonesia. Currently, about a third of the products are sold on the Indonesian market, and the rest are shipped to North America, the Middle East, Russia, and Eastern Europe.

The manufacturer advertises Laufenn tires as reliable and affordable tires without excess, designed by the world-renowned South Korean brand. In other words, for the buyer, such products are a reasonable choice. The simpler design of Laufenn tires can be judged by directly comparing models from the flagship lines of both brands - S Fit-AS and Ventus. Indonesian tires have a less complex tread pattern, which also indicates a corresponding rubber compound. This is a common global practice used to eliminate internal competition. It is enough to recall Nokian and Nordman in Russia.

Tires of this brand have been present on the markets of different countries since 2014, enough time for their buyers to form an objective opinion. Most of them were pleasantly surprised by the comfort of handling, low noise level, and reliability of traction properties. This applies to both summer and winter tires. Such high driving properties are due to the fact that Hankook, using its brand to promote Laufenn, is forced to take care of its reputation and offer high-quality tires.
