Initial version

The car presented in 2014 was created on the basis of the Corolla sedan of the 11th generation. Technically, it was almost completely identical to the "original", differing only in minor features in the exterior design. First of all, this is the design of the front part, made in a more aggressive style, emphasized by narrowed headlights, a chrome strip above the radiator grille and an air intake of a trapezoidal shape located below it. The rear part was "borrowed" from the North American version of the Corolla, differing, in essence, only in the presence of chrome decor, due to which the brand logo had to be moved higher.

Second generation

The car of the next generation debuted in 2018, being created on the basis of the Corolla of the 12th generation. Compared to the version produced at the joint FAW enterprise, the sedan differed in a more "sporty" exterior design, which, like its predecessor, was largely borrowed from the North American version of the Corolla. In terms of equipment, the model was distinguished by a fairly extensive list of available equipment. Already in the "base" there was a multimedia system with a 9-inch screen with pre-installed software from Baidu and WeLink. In turn, the most expensive versions of the configuration had a 12-inch display, artificial leather seat upholstery and a sunroof. Technically, the car repeated the "original" Corolla, offering a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine with 116 horsepower under the hood of the base versions, working in a "pair" with a belt-driven variant. More expensive versions of the execution made a hybrid power plant available, consisting of a 1.8-liter gasoline engine operating according to the Atkinson principle, an electric motor, a generator and an electromechanical variator. A unique feature of such modifications was the increased capacity of the traction battery, which made it possible to increase the distance without using gasoline to 50 kilometers.
