The Toyota Supra has been present in the production range of the Japanese company since 1978. Under the hood is a inline 4-cylinder gasoline engine B48 with a turbocharger, volume of 2 liters, with a capacity of 197 hp and 320 Nm, or with 258 hp and 400 Nm. As an alternative, a 6-cylinder inline engine with a volume of 3 liters was offered, developing 335 hp and 495 Nm. Another difference of the base version was the maximally simplified equipment, which included seats with manual adjustments, a multimedia system with 4 speakers, and 17-inch wheels.

Updated Version

Already in the next year, 2020, the car underwent a fairly large-scale update. From a technical point of view, the key innovation was the appearance of an updated 3-liter engine. It received new pistons and an exhaust system, which allowed to increase the power to 387 hp. The settings of the 8-speed hydro-mechanical "automatic" were changed, reducing the switching time. As a result of these changes, the acceleration time to "hundred" was reduced to 4.1 seconds. Among other updates, it is worth noting the appearance of aluminum struts between the attachments of the front suspension struts and the radiator, which increased the body stiffness, positively affecting the accuracy of control. In addition to the technical changes, the equipment was also changed. The multimedia system with an 8.8-inch touch screen became standard.
