Шины на Toyota Kluger (Тоуота)
The mid-size crossover Toyota Kluger has been in production since 2000. Initially, it was one of the variants of the Highlander model for the domestic Japanese market and Australia, and since 2007, only for Australia. The car owes its appearance to the 4Runner off-road vehicle, created on the basis of a pickup truck, which was not very suitable for operation on roads with a solid surface.First Generation
The car, which debuted in 2000, shared a platform with the Lexus RX. Initially, it was only available in a 5-seat version. The standard equipment offered front-wheel drive, and all-wheel drive was a prerogative of more expensive versions. The transmission was distinguished by an equal distribution of torque between the axles. The car stood out for its concept, in which, compared to the same 4Runner, comfort prevailed. In 2004, the line was supplemented with a 7-seat version. The engine range started with an in-line 4-cylinder gasoline engine with a volume of 2.4 liters, developing 155 horsepower. An alternative to it was a V6 with a volume of 3 liters and a power of 203 horsepower. The appearance on the market of the Nissan Murano and Honda Pilot forced the Japanese brand to install a more powerful 3.3-liter engine, developing 225 horsepower, which accelerated the crossover in 7.8 seconds.Second Generation
In 2007, sales of the second-generation crossover began. Initially, the car was equipped only with a 3.5-liter V6, to which a 4-cylinder engine with a volume of 2.7 liters was later added. Both engines were combined with a 5-speed, and from 2009, a 6-speed "automatic". In terms of equipment, the car stood out for a fairly extensive set of equipment. Especially in this regard, the most expensive versions stood out, offering an electromechanical power steering amplifier, a rearview camera, natural leather seat upholstery, satellite navigation, a JBL audio system, front seats with electric heating, and a 9-inch display with a DVD player for second-row passengers.Third Generation
The crossover, presented in 2013, differed significantly from its predecessor in its exterior design, acquiring deliberately square shapes. The car stood out for its 8-seat salon with a second row that could be shifted by 109 mm and expanded equipment up to the premium class level. The options included collision warning systems and road marking control, as well as "blind spot" monitoring. The base version offered a 6.1-inch touch screen with the Toyota Entune multimedia system on board. In more expensive versions, the screen increased to 8 inches, and the JBL audio system had 12 speakers.Fourth Generation
In the spring of 2019, the next generation of the model debuted. The car again increased in size, with most of the additional space going to the rear, where, depending on the version, not only a solid 3-seat sofa could be located but also two separate "captain's" chairs. The "gallery" stood out for the possibility of separate folding of the backrests in a 60/40 proportion. When the entire third row was folded, the trunk volume increased to 1150 liters. As for the technique, the key innovation was the "move" to the modular TNGA-K platform from the Camry sedan, but in a modified version with an increased wheelbase. From the "cart" of the predecessor, it was distinguished by a lower center of mass and greater body rigidity for bending and torsion, which positively affected both vibrations and handling. Under the hood was a 3.5-liter V6 with combined injection and a Dual VVT-i phase change system, developing 299 horsepower and 357 Nm, which was combined only with an 8-speed "automatic". In addition to this, a trailer towing equipment package was offered in the list of options - a radiator with increased capacity, an additional oil radiator. This allowed increasing the mass of the towed cargo to 2.3 tons. The standard equipment implied the presence of only front-wheel drive. As before, the all-wheel drive system was available for a fee, but in two versions. In the most expensive one - with individual multi-disc clutches on the rear wheels, through which the thrust vector control was implemented, as well as cam clutches that allowed completely disconnecting the rear drive during uniform movement on the highway. In turn, the "off-road" potential was ensured by the Multi-Terrain Select system, which changed the settings of the anti-slip systems depending on the selected mode.
As before, the crossover offered premium-class equipment - 3-zone climate control, electric driver's seat, multimedia system with an 8-inch display, Safety Sense 2nd generation driver assistance system. The top version adds a 12.3-inch screen, a JBL audio system with a power of 1.2 kilowatts, heated second-row seats, a salon mirror with a built-in display, which displays the image from the rearview camera. Depending on the version, the standard equipment for this crossover includes 18- and 20-inch wheels. This and other products can be found in the online store "Mosavtoshina".
