Шины на BMW M2 (БМВ)

The BMW M2 has been part of the German brand's production lineup since 2015. The compact coupe has become iconic for the brand, as it proved to be one of the most "honest" models in the entire M lineup, with a concept built on pure "mechanics" of drive and dynamics.

First Iteration

The car's debut coincided with a period when the German brand was actively introducing turbocharged engines, while still not fully abandoning classic engineering solutions. The coupe was created based on the standard 2-series model, but using technical components from higher-end models in the lineup - M3 and M4: subframes, aluminum suspension elements, and reinforced brakes. The inline-six N55 engine with a single turbocharger produced 370 horsepower, and the torque in overboost mode briefly reached 500 Nm, which at the time seemed almost excessive for a compact car with a short wheelbase.

However, this model was characterized not by its technical parameters, but by its reactions to the driver's actions - rear-wheel drive with an active differential, minimally filtered steering, and the option to choose a manual transmission. The first-generation car proved to be a rare example of a modern BMW that felt equally confident on the track and on winding country roads, without requiring the driver to make compromises between speed and involvement in the driving process.

The equipment emphasized the focus on the driver: standard equipment included sports seats with developed side support, a cabin trimmed with natural leather and Alcantara, a steering wheel with a thickened rim and paddle shifters (for the "robot" version). Already in the base, the car was equipped with adaptive suspension, a powerful M-Compound brake system, and a drive mode selection system with individual engine, steering, and stabilization settings. Optional features included carbon fiber trim elements, an improved audio system, and extended electronic assistants, but the M2 F87 deliberately avoided excessive digitalization.

Second Iteration

In 2022, the second-generation model premiered. It was created with consideration of significantly tightened environmental and safety requirements, while also taking into account the preferences of the target audience, which prioritized maximum performance. The car has noticeably increased in size and received a more aggressive exterior design, being "reinforced" with corresponding technical components, still from the "older" M3 and M4, including the S58 engine, although in a de-tuned version, producing 460 horsepower, but with promising potential for tuning.
The chassis was also taken from the older models in the lineup, differing not only in more "rigid" settings but also in an increased track and deep integration of various electronic systems. Another feature was the presence of an automatic transmission in the base version, but the "mechanics" were preserved, although offered as an additional option. As a result, the coupe felt like a more "mature" car, which proved to be faster, more stable than its predecessor at high speeds, less demanding of road surface quality, while preserving the "signature" handling.

The equipment has become significantly richer and more technological. Already in the standard configuration, the car received a fully digital instrument panel, a new-generation BMW iDrive multimedia system with a curved display, an extended set of electronic assistants, and a more advanced stabilization system with fine-tuning for the track. The sports seats have become lighter and more rigid, and carbon fiber buckets with integrated headrests are offered as an option. Also available are adaptive suspension with an extended range of adjustments, carbon-ceramic brakes, and telemetry functions for analyzing driving on a racing track.

Wheels and tires for this car play a crucial role in realizing the potential of the chassis: standard are 19-inch wheels in the front and 20-inch wheels in the rear, which requires a precise selection of tires, taking into account the different axle widths. Ordering tires and wheels in the "Mosavtoshina" online store allows you to choose the optimal options for the powerful rear-wheel drive and high lateral loads characteristic of this model.

Advantages of selecting tires for the BMW M2 on our website:

- selecting tires that take into account the high power, rear-wheel drive, and active differential of this coupe allows for stable traction during acceleration and predictable vehicle behavior in fast corners;
- the ability to choose wheels of the desired mounting diameter and offset helps maintain the factory suspension geometry and correct steering operation without unnecessary modifications;
- special offers and promotions provide an opportunity to rationally purchase wheel sets, reducing maintenance costs for the vehicle;
- consultations with specialists allow you to take into account the driving style, operating conditions, and features of a specific M2 generation when choosing tires and wheels, reducing the risk of error when purchasing.
