Another difference between the base versions is the presence of adaptive suspension. In the Competition, the chassis uses other levers and rigid ball joints.The equipment stands out with a modified media system, the functionality of which allows you to change the settings of the power unit, suspension, steering mechanism and all-wheel drive system separately with the possibility of using predefined modes and a special button for control. Visually, the car differs from the standard 8-series models, first of all, with wheel arches designed for installing wider wheels, as well as additional air intakes in the front bumper and wings, a small spoiler on the edge of the trunk, and other mirrors. The coupe version offers a carbon roof. 20-inch wheels are standard for this model, and the tires have a different tread width depending on the axis of installation, and the Competition version uses lighter forged wheels.
