The presence of a rear differential with electronic control is also a distinction, which is also available, but as an additional option for the 430i version.

The chassis is also unified with other models of the 3rd and 4th series. Standard equipment includes amplitude-dependent shock absorbers with "comfort" settings. In the list of additional options, there are two more chassis options - "sports" M and electronically controlled adaptive suspension.
