Modern Versions

The car underwent its first significant update in 2013. Externally, the model changed most noticeably in the front part, made in a more aggressive style. In technical terms, the most significant difference from its predecessor was the absence of a V8 gasoline engine. Now, all versions were equipped with a 3-liter 6-cylinder V-shaped engine from the previous model, but modernized, thanks to which, in particular, it was equipped with a "start-stop" system. Later, a diesel modification with an engine of the same volume and layout was added to the lineup. However, its power and torque were much higher - 347 hp and 700 Nm. It is distinguished by a combined turbocharging, where a classic turbocharger was supplemented with an electric turbine. It eliminates the so-called "turbo hole", working up to 1650 rpm. Then the conventional turbocharger is engaged. All electrical components are powered by a separate lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 0.5 kWh, located in the trunk.
