This tire was purchased 4 years ago when it first came on the market. The choice was made after tests and there were no doubts about it for the entire 4 years of use.

An excellent tire for its price, I have no complaints about driving and operation, after 3 seasons of use – 90% city, 10% highways - not a single chip, the tire is as good as new!

I bought the GOODYEAR ULTRAGRIP ICE ARCTIC two years ago, after reading numerous tests on the internet. They do well on dry asphalt, with almost no noise... The first 300 kilometers were a bit noisy, but after the run-in period, they got quieter. They also behave predictably on wet roads. On snow, they perform well and smoothly... I bought this tire after reading the review in Auto Review. I always choose tires based on the magazine's recommendations, but with adjustments according to my conditions. The mileage on my Ford has already exceeded three winters and I haven't seen any problems with going for a fourth. The studs have worn off by about 10-15%. I'd like to share my experience with this tire. It grips the road exceptionally well down to -35°C, coming from Yakutia myself, I know what I'm talking about. When the temperature drops to -40°C, the tire holds on exclusively thanks to the tread pattern. I have a front-wheel drive vehicle, and on the front wheels, I lost 70% of the tread over the winter. I'm not sure why, maybe it's because I didn't properly warm up

It's going great on snow, both on the packed and the loose stuff. Can't drive on the asphalt, it's making too much noise. I was on a lower-end tire, but this was a whole different level of discomfort. When I got a new set, I took it out on the ring road, and it was tolerable at 60 km/h, but once I hit 80 km/h, it felt like I was driving a "Bull", and at 100 km

I bought this tire before the 2015-2016 season. The first two months, apart from the noisy ride (it was quite loud), I was totally thrilled - it handled both ice and packed snow, and the asphalt was like rails (thank you, square tread blocks). After that, some minor drifting appeared (slight understeer), but not critical. By early March, all the studs had fallen off. Overall, the price-to-quality ratio is good.

Mileage - 1.5 seasons. First season running-in - as usual, about 400 kilometers. Purchase of studded tires is associated with frequent trips far beyond the MKAD.

Due to the warm start of the second year of operation, 30-40% of the studs were lost. The previous winter tire Michelin XIN2 was much more durable in this respect and without significant losses passed 3 warm winters in Moscow.

Maybe it was just the loss

The tire is of good quality, I've been running the studs in a very gentle mode, the studs are of a terrible quality - the main longitudinal stud is cracking (many cuts have appeared) and I have no idea what will happen next. I'm satisfied with the tire quality, but I'm disappointed in the quality of the studs!!!

Excellent tire. No complaints about it. Holds the road well on snow and ice. The only thing to be careful with on dry asphalt is to avoid sudden braking, as the tire may lose traction. On hard braking, there is a squeal of the studs on the asphalt, otherwise, the tire is quiet.
