Good with +
Excellent tires for city and high-speed driving. I've driven 2 seasons from +15 to -30C (in February 2006), including the 2006-2007 warm winter. Previously, I had Nokian Haka Q on a different car. After purchasing, I regretted and complained for the first month, but then... You just need to understand and get used to it. The tires are high-speed, they pleasantly understeer when

I'd say based on my first tests, on the test track which is nearby the stadium, it's a place where you can really slide sideways, and the ice is quite slippery =)).
— From standstill, tap the gas and it starts moving just like it's on asphalt, it's like the ice is breaking into pieces, and it holds the trajectory just as you set it. Braking on ice is a problem, but I managed to brake at

Super! Too bad it's been discontinued.
I was choosing tires for my powerful 200 horsepower car, relying on reviews on this site. I mostly drive in Kiev, the only drawback is the traction on thick ice, but only studded tires or chains can help with that. I've had a few intercity trips, driving on packed snow like it was dry asphalt, I didn't think it was possible to drive at speeds of up to 200 km/h in the winter. They

Some people confuse this type of tire with a snow tire, while others compare it to an all-season tire. In reality, this tire is for warm winters. Advantages compared to other types of tires:
Excellent handling, especially on turns, in regular friction tires it slightly floats.
Good aquaplaning as a result, adequate behavior on wet asphalt.
To the minuses I think you can only put stiffness and do not buy this tire for a climate- Vehicle:

For the first time I used winter tires and we had the worst winter in many years. The car never got stuck or lost traction even in the worst snow. Hills that were impassable with 4x4 on regular tires were a breeze! VERY impressed!

Good tire, Super!!! I actually wanted Continental-WV3, but now I don't regret it. For our winters, it's just what you need. On snow - excellent, on the highway - doesn't make noise, in turns - holds well. What more could a person need to calmly meet winter?!
Six winters drove on EUG GW-2 on Nissan Maxima 3L and a friend (2 sets were looking for) on all-wheel drive Audi A4 for five winters. Great tires! Soft, low-noise, handling and braking are excellent, both on asphalt and on snow with ice (Moscow-suburbs). This year, both changed cars (Volvo Cross Country and Audi A6 All) - installed GW-3. These tires are even better than the previous ones.
Driven almost two winters (from the end of January 2003, approximately 30-35 thousand). Impressions are the best. Of the advantages, I would like to note the absence of sidewall cuts (on the summer for two seasons - 2 wheels to the dump) and resistance to wear. Rating:
I've driven on them for two winters, although not much, about 10,000 km. The tires were like new after that mileage. I only have good impressions. Of course, they don't handle ice and deep loose snow well :), but otherwise, they're good tires for our city winters. They perform well on asphalt, mud, and rolled snow.
The first pothole is mine
yesterday I hit the first serious pothole (on the southern bridge, in the right lane). Today I'm going to buy 2 new GW-3 tires... (the wheels went with bulges) BUT THE CAR DIDN'T EVEN SWAY, it just quietly deflated to the rim (the speed was under 80)! so... safe tires
Pros: on dry frost - great!
Cons: on slush
