I've been driving on Goodyear tires for more than a year now. Prior to these I had the Goodyear UltraGrip Ice 2, which were very soft, quiet, comfortable, well-handling and had predictable behavior on the road.

I chose these tires after a long search, having read and watched numerous reviews and tests of various tires ranging from 195/65/R15 to 225/45/R17. Before these I had other tires as well:

I got fed up with the noisy Bridgestone Turanza T001. After buying the car, I tried to convince myself that I could get used to the loud noise it produces, but I was unable to get accustomed to it even after a month, both at low and high speeds. I decided to change the tires, but to what, I'm still unsure. I wanted silence, reliability, handling, and, of course, a lower price. In general, I won't tell you how

Before that, I had the first Performance, and now I've taken the second one. Absolutely new tire: softer, quieter, better passes through puddles and judging by the tread, it also has less wear. I tested it at high speed - it sticks like on rails, holds the road firmly at 5.

At low mileage I can only judge the first impressions. Noise and softness of the tire - 5 out of 5. Not too hard. Very satisfied.

Very quiet and soft - everything is as described. Holds well, doesn't slip, perfect in the rain. Civil maneuvers - perfect. I lacked heaviness and stiffness - the wheels feel a bit thin. But the tire deserves the highest score - everything that is claimed about it is at the highest level.

I've been using Goodyear winter tires for over 8 years - excellent tires, I've changed several cars, but for winter I always choose Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice 2. Now I decided to try summer tires of this brand. Despite the small mileage, I can already draw conclusions. The tires are very good, quite quiet, and in terms of their characteristics, they are in no way inferior to Michelin Primacy 4, and are slightly cheaper in price. I definitely recommend them!

I was choosing between GoodYear and Michelin Primacy 4, previously I drove on the first version of GoodYear and only positive impressions from them helped make the choice in favor of new GoodYear's. Moreover, in all tests, they have identical indicators, but Michelin was 20% more expensive at the time of purchase. I am completely satisfied with the tires, the car is unrecognizable, good grip on the road, low noise level, softer passing of joints and unevenness. But it seems to me that it has become a bit stiffer than the first version, but now they promise more wear resistance, probably due to this. Either it's still cool in our region. At speed, it holds the road perfectly, at 140 it's like on rails and there are no noises from the tires. Excellent tires, I recommend them to everyone!

Excellent quiet, soft tyre. Extremely comfortable. Handling is just as you would expect. You can't even hear it on some types of asphalt!

I'm very satisfied, even though I bought it largely on a whim just because the size was available.

How I Chose My Summer Tires.
There are three criteria:
1. Tire size.
2. Tire weight.
3. "I want" conditions of use.
From criterion 1 and criterion 3, everything is well known, but the weight of the tire is not provided by any manufacturer - this is a secret.

Goodyear has become my favorite brand (having tried all well-known tire brands) after purchasing winter tires in 2016, which are still in use, and the tread has worn out by about half, and that's over 40-50 thousand kilometers. In 2023, I didn't even hesitate which tires to buy, although the toad was strangling, the price for them is steep. Now the mileage on the tires is about 5 thousand kilometers, and some conclusions can be drawn. So, the tires, as expected, are not noisy, with a clear response to the steering wheel at high speeds and quite durable. Having driven over 2 thousand kilometers at high speeds, I caught more than one irregularity of our roads, and everything is fine. In conclusion, I am very satisfied with the tires, Goodyear once again confirms the brand!
