I've driven over 25,000 km on them in St. Petersburg and the region, and I've formed a certain opinion, so.
Let's start with the disadvantages or features (whichever is more convenient):
1. Despite the abundance of water-dispelling grooves, on a very wet road, you feel less confident than, say, on Bridgestone Turanza, Pirelli Scorpion or P7 Blue / Cinturato, Continental or Nokian.
You directly feel with the lower back that it's as if the tire is about to start floating (over 120).On a moderately wet road, the situation is better, you can cautiously push.
2. This tire is "audible". It's not extremely noisy, but it's audible. Even on new roads. You need to get used to it, because noise is a moderate disadvantage if the tire is good in everything else. The noise of the tire is partly explained by the dense rubber compound, which makes these tires almost stiff (but there are significant advantages to this, which I'll mention later)
3. It won't save you (or me) fuel. As a result of replacing the tires after a winter season, you won't see a difference in fuel consumption ;)
Now about the positives, of which there are many more than features:
1. Wheel protection from curbs. The tire protrudes beyond the wheel, which is very pleasing.
It will save your and my wheels from troubles. At the same time, it looks decent, not like a "beer belly".
2. Strong sidewall. I've hit potholes, thought it was all over, *****c. Not even a scratch appeared.
3. Excellent road grip, really very good traction. On turns, you feel great. (dry)
4. As I mentioned earlier, the tire is almost stiff, which gives it excellent wear resistance. For the first 10,000 km, there was no sign of wear at all. Not at all!
5. It handles road features such as joints, potholes, and unevenness quite well.
However, not perfectly.
6. Affordable price.
(although it may not be so affordable anymore).
7. Balances well, during mounting/dismounting, there are no problems/difficulties.
The 215/50/17 size is used on an Audi A3 2017.
I'd like to compare these tires to a conditional car that is very good technically, but not ideal in terms of operational comfort for the driver.
If you're careful in the rain, like to push on the highway, aren't bothered by the increased noise level, want to pass turns with excitement - you'll be very happy.
If comfort and comfort again with a focus on low/medium speeds + fuel economy are your priorities - pay attention to other wheels. You'll want to get rid of these.
Conclusion.
Objectively, these are very good tires.
In their price category and target audience.
Out of ten points, I'd give them 7.5-8.2
There aren't many models that are significantly better.

There were few reviews when I bought it. I decided to take it, trusting Goodyear's reputation.
In operation for half a season, operating mode - very active.
The tire was delightful. Compared to the previous one - Michelin Pilot Sport 3 - not worse at all.

I bought tires on this website and paid by card at the moment they were delivered. Two of the tires were normal, two had defects. I didn't take the defective ones, photographed them, made an act, called the website and they said they would investigate the following days. I sent the act and photos to the representative. I took a long time to choose, as always carefully and thoughtfully, but I chose tires from this manufacturer (Goodyear). Last time I had Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 235/45 R17 97Y XL. I'm very satisfied with the tires. I'll still drive them this spring. Maybe they would have been enough until summer, but problems with the suspension slightly wore out the edges of the front tires (silent blocks broke). None of my tires, except for Goodyear, have lasted two seasons. These lasted two seasons and still have some life left. That's why I chose the Goodyear Eagle Sport TZ 235/45 R17 94W. Yes, without reinforcement (although the manufacturer mentions "reinforced construction" and a slightly lower speed index, and production in Turkey). I think Goodyear wouldn't allow just anyone to produce their tires. When the tires were already ordered, the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 appeared in the catalog. But they look similar to the previous one and I didn't want to take them from the first batch, just in case. So, this summer I'll be driving on the Eagle Sport TZ. The rubber is moderately soft, but not too soft. It feels like it will last a long time (more than one season). They are quite grippy. The tread pattern is not as noble as the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 or 6, but it's appealing due to its "all-season" capabilities. The presence of advanced rim protection is also a plus. I don't evaluate handling on snow and ice, although today I could have found such road conditions. But I already have winter tires and I don't want to change them just for evaluation purposes.

Good tires. Made in Turkey in December 2020, which the Mosavtoshina manager warned about, for which he deserves credit, since it matters to some people. In my opinion, they will be fine for a year and a half (and even for three). I've been driving for a month, with a mileage of 5000 km. Mounting on disks, balancing - no problems. Driving on the highway is also without complaints. Road irregularities are smoothed out quite well, despite being low-profile (205/50R17). The tread depth promises a slow wear rate - three seasons or 50-60 thousand kilometers of mileage (I drive a lot on the highway in the summer). The rim protection on the sidewall of the tire is great! You would have to try very hard to scratch the disk against the curb. I don't think noise is a characteristic of the tire, it depends on the car's sound insulation. They can be heard on the Vesta, but it's not annoying. Perhaps they are better than many tires at this price. I used to have Pirelli, Cislaved, Michelin, Continental, and something else. The "Michelin" tires are the only ones that I remember for their excellent comfort, but they are more expensive. I definitely recommend these tires.

The driving mode is aggressive, but not with smoke from the wheels.

I start with balancing, two wheels were balanced normally, under 30 grams to one side. The third was over 100 grams to the outer side. The fourth one couldn't be balanced normally at all, and they were spinning the wheel on the hub and putting it on the other hub without any changes. I'm very satisfied with the tires. Once I had to drive about 15 km on a deflated tire (due to special circumstances). I arrived at the location, inflated it, drove another 80 km to the nearest city and when they removed the tire, it was all deflated. The tire technicians couldn't even understand how it didn't burst. Excellent tires, I would classify them as premium. They are on my car, a Corolla, 205/60 R16. They handle the road extremely well, whether dry or wet. They're quiet. Even on wet off-road, the car is predictable. I'm completely satisfied with them, 100%.
