Tyre reviews Goodyear UltraGrip Ice Arctic. Page 15 1278

I replaced my old Nordfrost 5 tyres with Goodyear UltraGrip Ice Arctic 185/65 R15 88T XL. It feels like my bald Nordfrost 5 tyres with worn-out studs held the road better than this crazy Goodyear. Maybe Goodyear stops better on ice, but they don’t hold the road at all. And ice is hard to find in Moscow these days, the roads aren’t cleaned and are all covered in snow. And if

Great tire, today, on 03.02.2018, it's raining with snow, the road is a mess, the speedometer is showing 110 km/h, and it holds up well during overtaking.

Everyday driving in the neighborhood and I'm glad I chose this tire and didn't opt for cheaper alternatives. The difference is noticeable. This tire is among the best according to tests, and the best according to my driving experience. On ice, I feel confident, and it's her element in snowy conditions. However, in the city rhythm on asphalt, it behaves worse. New tire hummed noticeably, then quieted down. The studs are holding on. Overall, my impressions are extremely positive.

Tread pattern on this tyre is just AMAZING, feels like the wheels are at least 225, when they're actually 195.
Bad side slip on ice, likely due to the shape of the lug.
I chose this tyre because of the aggressive tread for offroad trips on dirt roads - it performs beautifully there.- Vehicle:

Handles well on ice and in snow.
There were some issues with balancing, but supposedly it was balanced (about 1.5 hours).
One service centre did a terrible job, I went to another tried and trusted one. They reprimanded me and said that this tyre should be balanced carefully and not left to anyone.- Vehicle:

Hold well on ice, snow, slush, well leave the road. Hold worse on dry, rough asphalt, noisy. For the KhMAO region, I consider it an ideal winter tire. I drove on Nokias, Kislaveds, Hankooks, Nordman Bridges, this tire is better.

Good tires. Driven only in the city so far. Roads are different. Sidewalks are dirty as always. No slipping anywhere. Brakes work well. Small lateral slide on turns.

Decent tyres. Handles confidently on icy roads, dry and wet asphalt. Doesn't float around in the lane - holds steering firmly. Works perfectly with stability control. Will definitely take the same tyres next year. Best price-quality!

I spent a long time choosing tires that would meet all my requirements and then I understood that I need to take exactly Goodyear UltraGrip Ice Arctic 185/60 R15 88T XL and I didn't regret it. They hold the road perfectly, they bite into snow without a second thought, and ice is no problem at all. They are also very comfortable, there is no noise, or almost none, and it's not that they make a lot of noise, it's

Great tires! I used to have UltraGrip Extreme, which were also good, but these hold better in snow and on ice due to the tread pattern. I drove a whole season, all studs are still in place, considering that we retread in the autumn in September-October and late spring. The price/quality ratio is 5. Now they're even cheaper, I looked at ones that were almost twice as expensive.
