I acquired the tyre of size 215/55 R17. I chose from the newest models of Nokian, Michelin and Continental. I did not consider the studded tyres of the Japanese and Korean manufacturers. Prior to this, I had not used this brand of winter tyres (I had Michelin XIN, made in Spain, and earlier Gislaved NF5, made in Germany). However, after some market research, I opted for this Gudeog model due to the following

Size is 205/60R16, country of origin is Poland. The tire is great on any surface. It's like driving on rails on ice, confident acceleration and braking, and the ABS rarely engages, even less often than on loose snow. It drives just as well on a snow-covered surface and on water. On wet asphalt there was some wheel spin when accelerating, and the ABS engaged a couple of times when braking hard, but this did not happen on dry roads. It grips well

I already wrote a review about this tire in size 185x65 R14. I couldn't resist writing another one about the advantages of this tire.
After changing cars, I had to sell off my tires. As my friend was looking for winter tires for his newly acquired Chevrolet Niva, my tires were passed on to him. For winter tires, he specifically purchased KiK Status M alloy wheels with standard Lada parameters: 5.5x14/4x98/

I bought tires in the beginning of winter 2015 made in Poland (in 2014 the Hackapellit 8 was worn out to the core with a mileage of 112,000 km), the tires were very young, I don't remember the exact dates, but they weren't more than half a year old. They looked very nice, the tire was very soft. I used them for long trips to Karelia. The wheels saw various temperature and climatic conditions, and of

I really like the tire, it's pretty quiet, grips well on snow and brakes well on clear asphalt. The only thing that's bugged me is the feeling of a weak sidewall despite the XL index. The manufacturer by the way gives a 1-year warranty.

Lack of course stability, high noise, does not hold on the sides. But as they say somewhere something was lost, somewhere else something was gained. She's trudging through the snow and ice like a tractor, and you can pull her out of any slide. Special tires for those who need to venture into the snow and ice, and drive through a slide.

I first put it on Tiguan, lost a third of the studs on a 15000 km winter run. Now, I gave in to the salesperson's persuasion and excuses that there was a bad batch, and bought it again on Touareg. In the first winter, I lost around 10 studs from 4 wheels, but in the past month, I've already lost just as many. What will be left by the end of the winter is unknown. I drove on asphalt and

Hello!
After reading reviews and test results, I decided to buy this model.
In October 2013, I bought 185/65/15 Polish-made tyres for around 3000 PLN each.
The balancing was done without any problems. After the first thousand km, the noise from the studs decreased to any other studded tyre level.
I drove in different weather conditions, from +10 to -30 degrees, on dry, wet asphalt, and- Vehicle:

I bought these tires in 2020 for my Vesta Cross. Now I've decided to write a review, as this model is no longer in production. The tires are designed for harsh winters, with snow-covered roads. But they also handle well on dry asphalt. The biggest plus for me is that they can get out of any snowbank. Even if a tractor at the parking lot has piled up snow in front of the car, it's no problem to drive out. I just brush off the snow from the door sill with my boot, otherwise the door won't open. And I'm on my way, I've long forgotten about shovels. The tread pattern is tractor-like, it grips in any conditions. It feels like driving in the summer. At the same time, the tires are not particularly noisy. There is one drawback, the tread does not have longitudinal grooves, so you need to be more careful when cornering. It's a pity they're no longer producing them.

I bought Goodyear UltraGrip Ice Arctic 205/50 R17 93T XL (studded) tires in 2019 for my new car. Over five winter seasons, they have performed well. No punctures, no bulges, no sidewall cuts. I've never gotten stuck anywhere, they always dig me out of the snow, unless I try to drive into deep snowdrifts meant for jeeps. Handling is good, the tread is left at around 8 mm, and that's after five winters, initially it was a bit over 10 mm. However, a significant number of studs have fallen out. Previously, I had a UAZ Patriot with Goodyear Ultra Grip 500, made in Germany, and apart from the same excellent characteristics, only 1 stud fell out over 5 winters, although it's a heavy off-roader and I drove it through snow without issues. Nevertheless, these tires are a great option for my Vesta, I'm always confident that it will drive confidently wherever it needs to. And the rattling of the studs is secondary. In my opinion, it's better to drive with a little noise than to run around the car with a shovel and snow chains. Good luck with your choice.
