I don't see the point in writing all of this again, there are plenty of reviews here.
I bought it for 5962 rubles per tire. It's worth the money, without a doubt.
Before that, I had Bridgestone Blizzak, and in comparison to it, Goodyear is better at low speeds on ice and in snow, and in other respects I didn't notice a- Vehicle:

Excellent tire for strong frost, ice, and snow. Does not harden in strong frost below minus 30, very soft. Unbelievably passes through loose snow, holds the road well on ice. For a dacha with four-wheel drive, it's the best. One big minus, to which I've already got used, is that it's very noisy, especially when the car is a bit old. Bought on the second car, on the first was less noisy, as the car's

He bought the tyres for a friend to replace his worn-out Kumho tyres, whose model he can't remember. His friend is completely satisfied and has recommended the tyres to several other acquaintances, who also are now singing their praises. In short, they now drive confidently wherever they wouldn't have dared go before, tackle all sorts of potholes and cross snowy stretches of road without any problems. They claim they've never bought better tyres.

Regular tires for Moscow suburbs' winters. At 90 km/h on dry asphalt, they start to hum as if a plane is taking off. No other disadvantages found.

Probably a good tire, but only for regions where you have to drive on snow and ice, as they instantly dismount on the asphalt, and the rubber wears out quickly. There are a lot to compare with. For example, the Hakkapeliitta 5 managed to survive almost 4 winters on a sports car (with the corresponding driving style). These tires, placed on a family car, where the wife quietly moves, barely made it through one winter.

Goodyear UltraGrip Ice Arctic 225/55 R17 101T XL (stud). I bought these tires in the autumn of 16. The car is four-wheel drive. Very enjoyable and predictable winter driving. I don't want to write a lot. After 300,000 km of wear, 40% of the tread has worn off, I've lost 5 studs. Definitely recommend!!!

There are pros and cons. For me, the very thin sidewall, as was said at the tire shop, "thicker than a condom"!
The plus side is that it's quite comfortable and supple, and I liked the way it handled on ice, slush, and snow.
The minus side:
The sidewall developed a small hole on the side in the first year, at the seam, which is a defect, made in Germany- Vehicle:

Goodyear UltraGrip Ice Arctic 215/65 R16 98T . Immediately noted for myself the very thin sidewalls. The impressions of the tire were ambivalent, the driving style was largely calm, occasionally stepped on the pedal, drove both 600 km at a time and daily 15-30 km on asphalt (in the

I bought it, didn't regret, the car never got stuck, it glides out effortlessly where others get stuck, even when I give it a strong acceleration, it accelerates with wheelspin tearing the ice apart. On the highway, either because I wasn't used to it, as I hadn't driven in a while, or because the car drives more precariously at 140 km/h than the old skoda, I'm hard-pressed to say.
