Tire test for one season. Initially, I bought winter tires Arivo Ice Claw ARW7 295/40 R21 107T, the price was 55 thousand, balancing 20 grams per wheel, everything was fine. I liked the tires, but the braking didn't impress me, I tried changing the pressure in the wheels, but nothing changed much. I drove for a month and decided to change the tires, I chose Michelin X-ice North 4-suv, the price was 200 thousand. As a result, I thought I would brake on ice and snow like I was stuck, but nothing changed, the braking distance is the same, maybe a little better due to the larger number of spikes, but I'm not thrilled. I bought expensive experience. I think this is due to the car's design, its weight, etc. What tires you put on the GL, they won't brake on ice and snow. If I go back to the beginning, before making the decision to buy a Chinese tire for the GL, I had old Hakapelita 9 tires on another car, I put Arivo Ice Claw ARW7 on it, and everything became super, both braking and handling, etc., everything was great. In fact, I also decided to put them on my Mercedes, and I should have left them as they were, instead of buying Michelin for 200 thousand.

I previously bought the same tires (only size 235/60/R18) for my wife's Lexus RX350 III. We were very pleased with them. Over 2 seasons, not a single stud came out. For my Q7 this winter (2023-2024), I took 285/45/R20. So far, everything is fine. As someone correctly wrote in a review, "It holds the road confidently, but with a firm understanding that the main thing is not to overdo it".
And what I particularly like about this model:
    1. The number of studs. It's very large.
    2. The stud itself is small. Which is also a definite plus, since the smaller the stud, the less likely it is to be "twisted" and come out.
In general, I'm satisfied so far.

I bought these tires on a friend's advice and didn't regret it. In terms of noise, they are practically like summer tires, although there is a HUGE number of studs on each wheel. The traction on the road, on any road surface, is excellent. There is no float, the car's behavior is predictable, and the braking distance is minimal. After 2 seasons of operation (about 30,000 km, half of which were on asphalt), the condition of the tires is excellent, a couple of studs were lost, and there is almost no wear. I sold the car with them, which I soon regretted - I should have kept them, especially since the price for them now is many times higher than at the time of my purchase. Perhaps these are the best tires I've ever had. I can boldly recommend this model if your finances allow it!

I bought these tires in the summer of 2019, as they say, "getting ready for winter". My driving style is active, with many trips to the countryside and serpentines of Siberia to ski resorts, many rides on icy tracks on the reservoir, and participation in TimeAttack on ice. Since my car is chipped with 220 hp and 500 Nm at 2500 rpm, the requirements for the tires were high.

    Pros:
Excellent grip on any surface: snow, ice, slush, slush with water on top, ice underneath. It can handle all of this and will hold your car with a dead grip.
Very quiet, despite having 275 spikes on the wheel in my size.
    Soft and durable.

Cons - there are two, and one of them can let you down.
You get a feeling of permissiveness and lose the sense of self-preservation, making mistakes and ending up in a ditch (in the best-case scenario)...
On asphalt in warm weather, it's too soft and drifts a bit in turns. And it's a pity to drive on it in warm weather on asphalt.

Auto LR FR 2 + RR Evoque.

    The main habitat is KhMAO.

The tire is very soft, and it's soft from all sides (both under the tread and on the sides), just like a ball. For the city, this is a plus, but for the highway, it's a minus because the directional stability leaves much to be desired.

Among the bright pluses, I can only highlight the excellent grip on rolled snow. Moreover, the excellent grip is maintained both when turning, accelerating, and braking. The rest, compared to tires in this price segment, shows a rather average result.

The main drawback is that the real tire does not match the description and photo. The real tire has a narrowed tread width, lacks wheel protection, and reinforcement of the sidewalls. They put an SUV label on a passenger tire and thought that was enough.

There is noise, and it changes depending on the speed of movement. There are no miracles, and a quiet studded tire has not been invented yet. On loose snow, it plows like other tires in this segment. On a wet road, it's not bad, maybe even better than some. On dry asphalt, it's acceptable. But on a slippery (glassy) road, the grip disappointed me. A 5-year-old BRIDGESTONE was much better in this discipline. I entered turns at a speed that not everyone could achieve in the summer, and on MISHLENS, it skids already at 60. And when accelerating, all 4 wheels constantly screech. Unfortunately, I didn't expect this from such a highly praised tire. When crossing inter-row ice or porridge, the car has to be constantly caught, again, a question of directional stability. Another minus is the narrowed tread width. In this size, HAKKA, BRIDGESTONE, and PIRELLI have 200 mm, and here it's only 180 mm. That's a pity, but on the other hand, fuel consumption is less. Probably. I hope it was done specifically for this.

Previously, I had HAKKA 5. I don't know how old it was, but a couple of years ago, the studs left their native places en masse. I did a re-studding and decided that the problem was solved. But, as practice has shown, I just threw away money. The studs leave their places not because they are old, but because the characteristics of the tire have changed, and they are no longer held in these places. By re-studding the tire, we only solve one problem, forgetting that old tires have the same grip and characteristics as plastic.

I had to buy a new one. I googled for half a year and decided to take the praised MISHLENS in the native size 235/60 R18. Delivery, installation - everything is fine. I slightly ran it in and went for a test drive out of town. The first thing I noticed was the roll. The tire is very soft, and the FRIAL, although not pneumatic, is also very soft. As a result, I feel like I'm driving on jelly from Fruittella, only lacking rainbows. I accelerated to 100 and put it into a skid. Although I did everything carefully, I barely caught the car. The moose test is generally contraindicated here. The sensations are new and interesting, but not for me. I decided to put it on the RR Evoque. The EVOQUE is a car with very stiff and precisely tuned suspension. BRIDGESTONE BLIZZAK Spike-01 was installed on it. My only complaint about it was its stiffness. Therefore, I decided that this would be the best option. I put the soft tire on the EVOQUE, the hard one on the FRIAL. Not everything suited me, but as a result, it became more comfortable to drive the EVOQUE, although slower.

Of course, everything depends on how you drive, what you drive, and where, but this tire "didn't work" for me. My final, subjective opinion is:

An excellent tire for calm driving at permitted speeds.

The symbiosis of this tire with the LR car gives a rather mediocre result.

If I had known all this before, I wouldn't have taken it, definitely. Good luck on the roads!

First impression is positive, hopefully a lot better than the twos and threes. This is service for winter tires, predecessors in models, in a two, they break all studs after a year.

A four, so far, has shown up as a soft rubber, there are about 250 studs on the tire (I can say that the maximum number I have seen from other manufacturers is 140 studs). In this model, the studs are small (whether it will be possible to

Completely disappointed. There hasn't been a worse tire. So expensive, but they didn't even last 3 seasons. Storage was proper, spring tire treatment was done. Wore out. Will never buy again.
