Crimean Spring recently put the new tires to the test with a sudden snowfall and drop in temperature from +18 to -5 and rain turning to snow - all in one day - what more could one ask for, the beginning of winter. I decided not to wait six months to observe the tires and write my review.

I carefully selected and chose based on reviews and tests, comparing the routes that I would be driving on

I bought these tires from the very first batch in Russia. Size 205/55/R16, on a Audi A3 Sedan 1.4 TFSI, operated in Moscow. I decided to install them on the 20th of February. Initially, I was skeptical about the idea of full-season tires in our climate, but I have always wanted to try. I have traveled over 1000 km in various weather conditions.

1) Low noise level,

I was choosing a universal tire for Krasnodar. Before that, I used several winters: Guder Ultragrip 7+ in winter and Continental ContiPremiumContact 2 and Toyo S.F2.
As a summer tire, it's simply excellent, both in terms of speed and on water, quiet, excellent stability, very pleased, a worthy competitor to summer tires.

Made in Germany - a definite plus! The tire is very even, doesn't vibrate, and has been balanced with minimal load. It is very grippy, hard to slip the clutch! On a smooth asphalt surface, very quiet, on a rumble strip - you get the picture... On dirt - a tank, perfect for those who love nature and not just asphalt roads. Took it for the summer: from May to November.

I drive very little, so I didn't want to buy 2 sets of tyres. These are real all-season tyres with what I call "tractor" tread; they dig into mud and snow really well and also displace water. In heavy rain, they have great braking and stability, and of course no aquaplaning. In icy conditions, I haven't experienced any problems, but I imagine they'd get a C- on ice. These tires have been used for a short period of time. During this time, I was pleasantly surprised by the aquaplaning resistance and handling on wet roads.

On dry asphalt, it is unremarkable, doesn't fear the asphalt’s groove. In the rain, you can drive at 130 km/h, it does a great job of shedding water. In the mud, its traction is high. In slush, it sheds it well to the sides, its grip is confident. On snow, it performs just as well as winter tires. Germany made and that's it! Excellent tire - even, no vibration, perfectly balanced even with minimal load. Very grippy, almost impossible to spin on the asphalt! Very quiet and comfortable on smooth asphalt. On mud - "all the way!" Personally checked, ideal for those who love active leisure and trips into nature. Took it on summer: from May to November.

Hello everyone, I've been driving on Hankook (naturally, a bit stiff, but handling is normal) for a long time until they wore out. It's time to choose again, and after reading reviews and doing some research, the choice fell on Michelin CrossClimate (of course). I also looked for a slightly larger size, 225/45 on 18, and I wanted production in Germany, France, or the UK (not Russia, please). Only German production was available

I bought these tires specifically for long trips both on highways and for emergency off-road situations. In the end: after 1 season - minus 2 wheels (side wall completely without reinforcement) and one belly on the third (hit a stone in the middle of the wheel = belly on the side wall). In terms of handling - I have never seen a better tire (drove from -2 to +45), but ice, of course, does not like (much worse than any "snow tire
