I've been using this brand of tires in this size for 8 years now. When I bought my Honda Civic, it already had Pilot Sport tires fitted. When I replaced them after three seasons of wear, I went with PS2, and now I've decided not to experiment with all three models of PS. I enjoyed driving with PS, and the main advantage, in my opinion, is the safety and traction provided by the tire in wet conditions, as well as the margin for error it allows

When I bought the car, it came with Bridgestone Turanza T005A tires, and everyone, including YouTube reviewers, swore by them, calling them the best. But on dry roads, the car would oversteer in turns, and on wet roads, it was downright hazardous to drive. The brakes would lock up and the car would slide all over the place.

I was looking for a tire that could provide good noise and comfort performance while allowing regular high-speed driving. Overall, the PS4 handled its task, but there are two significant nuances:

1. The car on these tires is very sensitive to the rut, and the problem worsened as the tread wore out. For me, this is enough not to buy these tires for the S-class again.

2. The wear rate - about 20,000 km was enough to wear the tires almost to zero.

For E-class sedans, I consider these two nuances not critical and justified, but for the F-class, I would recommend looking at other models.

Comfort - previously, I had ContiSportContact 5 R18, and to my surprise, Michelin PS4 was noticeably softer even with a reduced profile height. There are also no questions about noise, the tire is quiet.

Aquaplaning, braking, grip - everything is flawless. Many people write that the zero in the steering wheel is lost - I have nothing to say about this issue, as a sharp zero is the last thing you expect from an S-class, I didn't notice it. The situation with durability is interesting, on the one hand, you are almost guaranteed not to see any bulges after any potholes on this tire, on the other hand, the sidewall can be easily cut if you rub it against a sharp edge of a pothole. In any case, I consider the durability combined with comfort and grip to be flawless, no Conti or Pirelli can do that. If you want a durable tire in all respects - it will be hard, here is a golden mean with a big gap from all.

I picked a car in a rather non-trivial way:-). I bought an old one, but restored it to a brand new condition.
