I've been running the 3rd set. Size is 285/50r18. The cheaper ones are overstocked. Made 6 years ago. "New" ones are 30-40% more expensive. There are some remarks on the rims. Plus on the brakes. Plus on water. On broken asphalt roads - very good. Handling is excellent. (The Touareg is on springs and anti-roll bars with increased diameter).
