I was considering the Nokian Hakkapeliitta 8 SUV 235/55 R18, Pirelli Scorpion Ice Zero 2 and Michelin tyres. After comparing their characteristics, I chose the Michelin tyres. I've only recently started driving on them, but so far I can say that the grip is excellent and the car is very easy to handle. They performed well in the first snow. We'll see how they hold up going forward.

It's all perfect for the winter tire. Currently, I consider this tire to be the best among the winter studded tires. The noise almost is not there (at the level of summer tires), the handling, braking, and acceleration are great on any road surfaces.

What to say about Mosavtoshina, I do not advise buying anything here, as there are no managers with a professional approach, responsibility, and customer focus a priori, use this resource only for familiarization and reviews from real buyers, if they still remain here. Mosavtoshina, change your staff or do not hire lazy schoolchildren. I give the tires a solid five, and Mosavtoshina's work a two.

The sixth season is on. The mileage is not measured, as it was not specifically measured before and after the tire change.

The first 4 seasons were without complaints. It drove perfectly on wet asphalt, snowy slush, snow, ice, and dry asphalt.

It holds the track, but not always confidently. The lateral grip in turns and on inclines is not the best, the car skids, although not very strongly. The braking distance is short on any surface except ice under snowy slush, then it increases by about 2 times due to the inertia of the car.

As for noise, only the studs are heard due to their shape and installation, apparently. At high speeds, it does not disturb much, it is quite comfortable in the cabin, both in the city and on the highway.

The tires are durable, with about 40% wear so far.

Not for nothing have these tires taken all the first places in tests - they are really worth it.
The best handling in any conditions, silence, smoothness of the ride, and so on. You can list it for a long time.
At the time of writing this review, I have driven 2 winters - no more than 3-4 lost studs on all wheels, given that there are 333 horsepower under the hood and the driving style is far from being the most calm.
    I consider

I would like to draw attention to the fact that I have been driving since I was 18 years old and have driven so many kilometers that I have lost count, which means that I have changed a lot of tires and have something to compare and talk about. If I have installed tires, I have chosen the best one from the top 3, and after an unsuccessful first experience with "sticky" tires, I started driving only on studded tires. Today, I have more than 5 vehicles, including work vehicles, and I have even installed MICHELIN X-Ice North 4 SUV tires on my work cars, as they have shown the best characteristics compared to all others.

We all understand that a glassy ... is not forever, and a slippery road is a mode of movement with an increased risk of safety on public roads. In this regard, I want to emphasize that this tire is comfortable and safe to drive on, and even during a snowfall or slush, the car is responsive to handling, with excellent qualities. I can only add that I have driven on different tires, but this one is the best of the best today.

I've driven almost 5 winters on these tires.
The tires are excellent, they handle the road wonderfully.
    There's little noise!
But like the previous XIN3, they suffer from a loss of studs after the third winter with active driving.
The studs break off and fall out, but they still hold well.
By the fifth winter, a tread bulge formed, vibration appeared, but our roads are also not great, I've caught many potholes. So, I don't have any complaints about the tires in this regard. I was planning to buy new ones for the next winter, but I'll have to get them now.
I would buy them again, but the price has skyrocketed, so I'll try the studded ones.
I would have taken them again at the old price 😁

I live in Samara, there was enough snow, although this winter is quite warm and slushy. There was good black ice after rain and sharp frosts, the courtyards are not cleaned very well. I have tires of different widths, no problems with rutting were noticed. There were some skids at medium speed in the midst of a snowstorm, when a thick layer of snow was on the road (the utilities had not had time to clean it up), but that's okay, especially for a rear-wheel drive car. My driving style is calm, so there were no emergency brakes. I don't hear any noise, but that's thanks to the car itself. I always drove on studded tires before and I'm glad I took studded tires, not friction tires, which is just right for our city.

I've been driving on these tires for five winters. I almost never drive off the asphalt. The tread is almost not worn out. The studs are 99% in place and haven't even worn out. But there's one BUT! A couple of years ago, when I was changing the tires, I noticed that all the studs were loose! In other words, even when you just roll the tire with your hands, all the studs come out forward under their own weight, but of course, they don't fall out, they just come out 3-5 mm from the tire. It turns out that in the mounting place, the studs move forward and backward when the wheel rotates. I thought it was supposed to be that way (after all, it's Michelin!), but I couldn't find any information on this matter anywhere. I repeat, 99% of the studs are in place. Can you tell me if this is normal or not?

An excellent tire in terms of overall characteristics. Three seasons and 12,000 km, not a single stud was lost. But at the end of the third season, a stud loss occurred. Maybe the weather conditions are to blame, or maybe the time has come. In total, on four wheels, I lost 600 studs. Moreover, they do not fall out, but simply break. Of course, you can re-stud and continue driving, but I decided to buy a new set. So to speak, I'll give studded tires another chance. If everything repeats itself, I'll try Michelin's studded tires.
