Positive impressions only from the tire.

Michelin is Michelin – five stars.

Performs well on both snow and ice.

Excellent tires.

The tires are not bad overall. They are an average tire for the first line. Initially, they are too noisy. After around 3,000 km, the noise fades away. The tread with proper wear holds up well.

The Best

Excellent tire. In operation since 2011. Snow, ice, asphalt - performs flawlessly (acceleration, braking, handling). Lost one stud over the course of time, despite aggressive driving style.

I've never seen such terrible tires. They cost a lot and the quality is bad. They are noisy and whiny to an extent that it makes your ears hurt. I was choosing between Hakkapeliitta 5 and Michelin Xin 2. In the store, they convinced me that Michelin Xin 2 is a competitor to Hakkapeliitta 7,

I bought these tires new, and recently installed them. It’s as if I’m flying on a jet plane rather than driving my Lada with soundproofing. The noise is unbearable; it’s a torture of some sort. My only hope is that over time it will all wear in and become quiet, otherwise my brain won’t be able to take the daily driving with such a racket.
