The studs shoot out like bullets, two seasons left and there are only 30 left on all four wheels, despite the driving not being aggressive. Braking and accelerating on packed snow, and even on ice, leaves a lot to be desired, treacherous tires!

Overall, I liked the tires, they're worth the money and are made of good quality, but there are pros and cons. The main pros are good tread wear and good quality rubber, even losing studs in the first two seasons did not affect handling in any way. The handling is also excellent, in any conditions they drive confidently. The con is fast wear and very loud. I'll take something newer for this season, maybe new stud technology from Goodyear.

I frequently had to replace the tires once a season, due to a high loss of studs. The UG Extreme put an end to this statistic. So, I bought the next model, Ice Arctic. I liked the special stud attachment and excellent ice and snow performance. My expectations were met. I only lost one stud, on the right front wheel, possibly when I abruptly accelerated or braked. I am very pleased with my purchase. I also wanted to mention the traction, I don't know

This tyre was pretty average, nothing special. But the next model was just super - UltraGrip Ice Arctic. I drove with it for 2 seasons, all studs still in place, it saved me more than once in deep snow and on icy road. I would give it a score of 5+.

Advantages:
- reasonably quiet (after switching to Bridgestone B250 in summer, the winter tire turned out to be quieter)
- the vehicle handles well on any surface
- price (at the time of purchase (2008) - 2500 per wheel)
