Excellent quality in this size
I don't know how it is with others, but for me, this is an excellent tire for 12,000 kilometers, the front ones have worn out only 1.5mm compared to new ones, it handles the road perfectly, even on ice. And what I liked most is that the car with these tires on ice is manageable and doesn't just slip, regardless of the steering wheel position. And if someone has a long braking distance, I advise

average tire
After summer, immediately on dry asphalt, as usual, braking in front of a lying police officer, like skiing on snow (((((, very disappointed, same on wet asphalt, good on snow, ice is not very good

I advise and recommend!
Back in October, I spent a long time and meticulously chose between brands, sorted, and suffered before choosing between GoodYear 500 or DS2, and finally took the latter. My father-in-law has the same Mercedes, but he has old Continental tires. There was something to compare with... Honestly and objectively, I liked DS-2 better, and there were situations with emergency braking and constant movement on cobblestone (those who live in Lviv know)...

excellent tire - I recommend - respect to the studded ones!
I've been driving on it all winter - only the best impressions, and it handles well, soft, absolutely no noise, before that I drove on studded Michelin - I liked the non-studded one more for its predictability!
Pros: all pros in all respects
Cons: none- Control on a dry road

Great tires!
I've driven three winters, 50,000 km, the tread is like new, it seems indestructible. Completely quiet, soft (the creaks in the cabin disappeared) and after it, the steering wheel doesn't turn on summer tires. It handled snow well, and on ice, it was also very good, I'm very pleased. The only drawback is that it throws the car when driving over ruts from trucks, by the way, I didn

Before Danlop, I drove on studded tires in winter. Decided to try non-studded, size 205-55-16. Excellent acoustic comfort, much quieter and softer than the summer Conti. Handling is on the level, especially good behavior at temperatures below minus 10 degrees. Braking is very correct, informative, and it's practically impossible to get into a skid. I recommend, a good and affordable choice for this size.

I don't know how it is on the Blizzard, judging by the reviews it's not bad, but I'M SATISFIED, softly, predictably, on dry asphalt above 0 gas to the floor it shines, when sharply braking in the same conditions... skidding, but wait, this is WINTER tires, so let's not forget about that, distance and all that stuff, it comes out everywhere, when braking on ice you need to be more careful :)), quietly, good

I've been driving for the second winter. The size is 225/45 R17. To put it briefly, the tires are mediocre, rubbish. They don't like rutting. Longitudinal traction characteristics are poor: starting on wet asphalt or, God forbid, on ice is always with wheelspin. TCS lights up every time even when adding gas from a start (from 100km/h). ABS also triggers often. That is, you can't accelerate OR BRAKE. And

Nothing worse has ever been! Driving on slushy snow at speeds over 65 km/h is simply dangerous and scary. The car becomes unstable, constantly requires steering corrections. Reactions to the wheel are unclear. In loose, wet snow, it feels satisfactory. As for ice, I have nothing to say yet. Resume: I'm thinking of changing tires...
