He replaced a seven-season old shod Yakohama. He previously used Dunlop on his 4x4, which left a positive impression. That's why he chose this brand. The tire is on his wife's car, which is not used to studs (10 years on studs), so sometimes negative impressions emerge while driving on open ice, plus it's all slushy. But even studded tires can only do so much in such conditions.

Of course, the price is not small, but this is justified. The tire is soft and even at -35 degrees in frost it holds the road well. I have traveled over 2000 km on this tire, and there are no questions about managing on ice and snow or a wet road. Wear resistance - we'll see, it's still early to talk.

They handle snow well. They float on asphalt at alpine temperatures.

It's cooled down and snowed. The roads have a mixture of snow and icy patches at times. The tires don't float at +2 to -5 degrees. The road is held very well. I'm driving corners carefully, of course. This is my second set of Dunlop tires on my Honda. The tires are quite good and deserve a high rating for today's weather.

Moderately stiff, reinforced sidewall.
On ice and compacted dense snow (ice sheet) it drifts, doesn't grip. But if you choose the speed and trajectory wisely, it gives a fairly good result.
In all other respects, the tires are excellent. They behave well in the off-season.
A bit noisy to my sensation, but not critically, at 110-120 km/h in the car you can have a normal conversation. At 140 km/h the hum is already more noticeable.
