I bought “DUNLOP GRANDTREK PT2” 165/70 R16 tyres, where I had to choose between this and a Chinese Marshal. My reasoning and the advice from the manager naturally steered me towards the Japanese manufacturer, and the MADE IN JAPAN stamp finally confirmed that I made the right choice. I don’t know how honest the manufacturer is about the origin, but I have already balanced the tyres and rotated them twice and it still doesn’t stay in

Satisfied with the tire. Replaced the original Kumho with it. Soft but not too soft, quiet. Ride is comfortable. Sides are robust. By accident ran over a curb, thought the tire would burst, but no, all is well.
Holds the road perfectly, whether dry or wet. Didn't test off-road as I don't have the opportunity. Price-quality is excellent.

Wheels are original to the vehicle at purchase.
It has blown a few times, doesn't hold a curve on wet roads at all, even at 40km/h. Goes into the grass or mud, and it's absolute madness, it starts to pull.
Brake distance on dry asphalt is awful. Whistles in the turns like a whistle even at moderate speeds. Be careful, it's only for dry, good asphalt, everything else is an instant heart attack.

In terms of price/quality ratio - absolutely a normal working option. I previously used Pirelli for 3 seasons. This one undeniably will be softer - so we get some reduced traction when turning. Better durability, quietness, 'excellent' in emergency braking (had two unpleasant situations at speeds of 60-80km/h), but everything went by without a hitch. Just be a bit more careful when entering puddles at speed, best to brake a bit earlier. In

Tires were bought for an SUV in size 265/65-17 instead of Dunlop SP Sport 9000. The tires are purely for summer use, despite being marketed as all-season. As soon as I drove on wet snow in the city, I realized that all-season was a farce. The tires are relatively quiet and when braking sharply, they squealed a bit, but that's not the tires' fault, it's the driver's lack of competence. Made in Japan.

Car: Forester 2007, 2.5 liters, automatic. Main workhorse in the family, 80% road, 10% highway, 10% dirt and others. Replaced Yokohama GeoLander. After a month of use, I couldn't find any major issues, but some observations are worth mentioning. The tire impressed me with its quietness, grip and excellent asphalt behavior, not as soft as the Yokohama, and a long way from being
