Excellent tires, handling on clean asphalt and on snowy and icy surfaces is just superb. The unique tread pattern certainly does its job. Even at such a low mileage, all studs are still in place - I recall the Hakkapeliitta LT, which after its first winter at 5,000 km showed over a quarter of its studs missing! As minor quibbles - a slight acoustic discomfort was noticed immediately after installation at speeds above 70 km/h, but it normalized after 50 km (

Folks, I recommend this tire, I ordered it here and had a long conversation with the manager about when the tire was made. In the end, it's 18 years and 6 weeks old!!! I'm satisfied with the tire as a snake is with its prey, in the snow it grips, brakes normally, and I consider it quiet for a studded tire. At speeds of 120-130 km/h it holds the road, I don't drive faster because the car isn

I've got a front-wheel drive 230 HP with no limited slip diff, 5-speed transmission, and I'm very happy with the tires. The car has excellent directional stability in both snow and ice, and I've had no squealing or vibration issues. The balance is spot on and doesn't require any adjustment. However, if you drive it in wet snow and hit an icy patch, it can be quite challenging to get the car to stop smoothly. The car has been relatively quiet since

15-year-old tires, still in their first season, make an inordinate amount of noise, perhaps due to the hard seating of the studs, but on dry and wet asphalt without snow - like on ice skates, traction is even with the rear wheels when accelerating slowly, and it pulls and brakes in the rear during turns. As of winter 2018, it has been relatively snow-free, so I haven't tested it extensively in snow, but from the first snowfalls, the result is

Wheels are very good. They grip nicely in loose snow, there are almost no wheel spin issues.

I bought it a month ago, right before the price hike, and installed it yesterday. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to take it out on the snow yet, but so far it's just icy conditions. As for the noise, it's a bit like being in a plane, but I knew what I was getting when I bought it, and I was prepared for it. That being said, I had the Hakkapeliitta 5 before this one, and it was noisy too

Fully met expectations, no surprises on a winter road. Excellent tires for their price. In use for 1 season (~7000 km), all studs in place, no visible wear.

I bought it in October 2018 (25252R, 4 pieces), there's still no snow, but I've already driven a bit on the ice. The pluses - soft, holds very well. Tank tread protector (square stud). The minuses - of course, it's noisy, whistles on dry asphalt. Much quieter on wet surfaces. The noise decreases with increased mileage. I'm eagerly waiting for snow. The consumption has noticeably increased, but that's understandable - the
