In 2010, the car underwent a facelift. Its exterior was brought in line with the stylistic features of the Golf VI, presented a little earlier. An additional advantage of the update was a significant reduction in the aerodynamic drag coefficient from 0.32 in the predecessor to 0.29. In addition to design, it "shared" an electronically controlled suspension, xenon headlights with the Light-Assist function, automatic parking, and a multimedia system. Similarly, the engine range changed, which included a 1.2-liter TSI gasoline engine, as well as a 1.6-liter diesel engine with a power of 90 and 105 hp, which replaced two similar power units with a volume of 1.6 and 1.9 liters.

In 2015, the brand presented a minivan of the 2nd generation. The car was built on the modular MQB platform, which was relevant at that time, and differed from the predecessor by a larger space in the cabin and trunk, an increased number of electronic systems, as well as four new engines, which, when compared to the previously offered engines, were 20% more economical.
