The Volkswagen Polo Sedan is one of the versions of the 5th generation Polo lineup. In 2014, a special "tax" version of this engine with a power of 85 horsepower appeared, which was done by changing the control program.

Second generation

In 2020, the second generation of the car was released. Like its predecessor, it is one of the versions of the base hatchback Polo, but it is executed in the "liftback" body. The exterior of the car was developed at Skoda, which presented a "clone" of this model - Rapid. Both options use the PQ27 platform, which significantly increased the size, especially in length, which gave an increase in both the space in the salon and the volume of the luggage compartment, accommodating up to 530 liters. The engine range is represented by two engines. These are two versions of the in-line "four" with a volume of 1.6 liters, with a power of 90 and 110 horsepower, as well as a 1.4-liter TSI with a turbocharger, producing 125 horsepower. The "atmospheric" engines are combined with a 5-speed "mechanics" and a 6-speed "automatic", and for the most powerful version, a 7-speed "robot" DSG is offered without alternative.
