I bought new tires for my BMW: Micheline X-ice snow 245/40 R19

At Mosavtoshina, at the point located at Ogorodny Proezd 9a, bld. 1, my mood started to deteriorate when I received my order. The warehouse employee threw my tires over the threshold (literally!), two tires with wheels were stored in the premises, and the other two tires were brought from the street (the tires were wet, and there were pieces of ice frozen to them - you can imagine how they were stored!). I, of course, asked questions, and they replied: "Everything is fine, they were just unloaded from the container today, it's Michelin, nothing will happen to them!" I thought, "Okay, help me put the tires in a package so I don't get dirty," but when I asked the warehouse employee (loader) to hold the package for me, he replied: "We don't do that!"

I had the tires installed at a different workshop due to a long queue, and during the balancing process, they immediately pointed out that the tire was "jumping," but since the installation was already done, they said they wouldn't return my money... I thought, "I'll check it out and if there's a problem, I'll take it back to the dealer." While driving home, the steering wheel was shaking the whole way, especially after accelerating above 90 km/h...

The next day, I took a day off and went to the dealer, to Aviamotornaya 65, bld. 1 (since they had a free box for tire mounting and I could remove the tires and check the wheels on the equipment... And that's when the most interesting part started! They told me that my disk was warped, that it's Michelin, and there can't be any defects...! I replied: "I put these tires on the same disks I used in the summer, and everything was fine!"

After a long conversation, they finally convinced me to straighten the disk, and then they said: "Everything will be fine!" Why did I agree, you ask? So, after fixing the disk, the situation didn't change! In essence, they took 3700 rubles from me for nothing! Two days later, I managed to take a day off from work and went to them again, pointing out the situation... They told me that I had the wrong tire pressure, instead of the recommended 2.4 bar, someone from their team inflated one tire to 2.6 bar, another to 2.9 bar, and the other two to 3.0/3.1 bar (I saw this on the sensors on the day they fixed the disk), but no, the employees told me that it would stabilize when I drive...

They fooled me, saying it was their fault and everything would be fine now. I trusted them again, since I don't know much about this, thinking that the specialists know better... As you can guess, the situation didn't change... After a long argument with Mosavtoshina employees, I finally managed to get a free demounting of the defective tires (yes, they wanted to charge me for it!). I took the tires to the authorized Michelin dealer for complaint acceptance, at Electrodny 14, bld. 1. There, I handed over the tires and waited for a response. The response didn't come for about a week, and then they contacted me and said that Michelin would reimburse me for the cost of the tires, considering that I overpaid 8500 rubles, lost 2 weeks, and had to deal with the hassle and inability to use my car... I still haven't bought new tires, and the money hasn't been transferred to my account yet!

In general, who is to blame in this situation is up to you to judge... I'm writing this so that people can evaluate the risks of dealing with this company, and the manufacturer, if you see this review, knows what I think about all this!

There is no respect for customers! You don't impose penalty sanctions on dealers for their mistakes (there are many complaints about Mosavtoshina, I learned about this from Tayresov), and you're the ones who spoiled them, so the blame for this incident also lies with you! I won't be looking at the Michelin brand again!

To confirm my words, I'm attaching my order number from Mosavtoshina: 2023553 (order from 04.11.22, 19:20 MSK); Michelin complaint numbers: FT-TC185872/73/74/75

Excellent tire, quiet (67dB) and comfortable, with a good balance of softness and stiffness, and a strong sidewall.

Size 185/60 R15, made in Germany.

Used in a temperature range from +10 to -15, with active driving style. Excellent traction on dry and wet asphalt, performs well with slush, snow (even during ABS braking at 80 km/h on a slushy and uneven road), the only contentious point

I've been using these tires since November 2020. I drove (02.01.2021-06.01.2021) from Moscow to Tolyatti and from there we drove to the Zhiguly Mountains. I liked the tires, I'm satisfied, they're on my Geely Atlas 2.4 AWD, I keep the pressure at 2.3. I would buy them again, yes.

I operated them in Moscow and the Moscow region during autumn, winter, and spring. They are very good in the off-season, really worthy of holding water, and on dry roads, the handling is good considering the height of the profile and the overall softness of the tire. Not sporty at all, but excellent for winter.

My first "studded tire", previously many years on different cars and studded tires (from the top 5 according to accessible tire tests) - the differences on snow and ice are more than significant. What surprised me - it doesn't throw snow, or rather it does, but very poorly. I drove all winter in the countryside with the anti-skid system turned off. Ice - very difficult to start moving, the braking distance is unusually long, but lane changes are more or less manageable. By feel, on the same surface, but with some eighth Hakkapeliitta, I would drive +20 km/h.

Dense packed snow - behavior is good.

If compared to a "studded tire" from Moscow car sharing - it noticeably behaves better on ice, which lies on parking lots for half a winter. At least you can start moving somehow, and not slide in place, but of course with wheel spin.

I think it's a good choice not for beginner drivers. On a four-wheel drive car, there may not be any problems with starting on slippery surfaces at all.

    BMW 5 G30 xdrive.

The tires are excellent. Ice, snow, snowy slush, wet asphalt, damp asphalt - there are no difficulties anywhere. The mileage is mostly in Moscow, where the asphalt is with wet snowy slush, as well as trips to the regions, where there is a lot of snow with ice and low temperatures - everywhere there is a powerful grip. On the highway, you feel very confident. The tires are incredibly quiet, they can't be heard until 30 km/h.

The only drawback is the price - a set of single-width 19" 245/40 in December 2025 cost 134,000 rubles - this is very expensive, but safety during the winter season is above all else.

    I definitely recommend it.

Fresh impressions after Tigar ice suv 215/65/17 (got them last year with the car), I only changed them yesterday, drove to the tire shop on studded tires, and returned on Michelin friction tires.
What can I say - I'm surprised) On the way back, the anti-skid system indicator flashed much less often, and braking on icy asphalt with slush (I deliberately braked until the ABS kicked in) was much better

On bare ice, of course, the ABS starts making noise earlier, but there's no such thing as the car sliding forward uncontrollably, everything is clear and predictable

In the courtyard in the evening, I tested them in deep snowy slush - great, much better than Tigar.

And most importantly - now there's SILENCE)

If I were to make a final conclusion - they're much better than my previous studded tires (by the way, quite fresh - 2021 production year for Tigar, 1.5 seasons on them, and I only lost a couple of studs)

Overall, not bad balanced tires. I expected more from the traction on icy surfaces. In Krasnodar, at positive temperatures, when accelerating, it floats a bit.

Deep snow is handled well, water is drained well. Quiet, elastic.

I was previously skeptical about friction tires. But interest and the lack of studded alternatives did their job, these tires were purchased - different widths of R19. Acoustic comfort is excellent, compared to studded and Continental summer tires. At low positive temperatures, they "float", and braking on wet surfaces is very weak. But at negative temperatures, they behave excellently, handling and braking are beyond praise, "studs" can't compare. For city driving, it's an ideal option.
