Tyre reviews Michelin X-Ice North 4. Page 6 881

Great tires. Soft, very grippy, absolute confidence on ice, including black ice. Quiet, like driving on a velcro. I used to drive on Hakka - it's heaven and earth. The tires were delivered fresh, one pair was a bit older (I took different widths, of course). The only, perhaps, minus is the speed index. I definitely recommend purchasing.

I decided to choose the best from those presented on the market. At first, I thought I hadn't made a mistake, everything was great in all respects. The most important advantages for me are good braking on snow and ice and minimal lateral drift. But happiness lasted for 3 years.
After the 4th season with one set of tires (I swapped front with rear every season), almost half of the studs came off (but none broke off, as it was with the 3rd version), although my driving style didn't change and road conditions remained roughly the same. The tires started to grip worse when accelerating on packed snow and even more so on ice (it felt like a regular friction tire), but braking was still excellent.
Before the 5th season, one wheel went awry during summer storage, somewhere the cord seemed to have burst. Although the tires were stored, I consider, excellently - in a dark and dry garage, not over-inflated, each lying flat on its own shelf on the rack.

Order 1591519, purchased Michelin tires in 2021. Excellent tires for winter driving, soft, comfortable, and handle the road well. I've been using Michelin for a long time, previously used Nokian and Hakkapeliitta, but they are harder and much noisier, with a humming noise. There's no such issue with Michelin. When purchasing tires at Mosavtoshina, they offer a 40% discount on tire mounting. In principle, with the discount, the price is the same as everywhere else, but without the discount, it's more expensive. However, I noticed that the tire fitters are qualified, it's clear that they receive training. Garage mechanics work much worse.

Legendary brand, stability in turns, excellent braking. It's too early to talk about noiselessness: running-in).

I've driven on these tires for a full season. During this time, all the studs are still in place. The tires handle the road confidently, don't get stuck in the snow, and the studs provide confident grip on slippery roads (at reasonable speeds, of course). The tires are not particularly noisy. They are made with high quality. I have no complaints, I will buy them again. Overall rating 4+/5-. The price is justified.

Bought, guided by reviews, and remained satisfied. Grippy on ice, decently show themselves in deep snow and predictable on wet asphalt. And I was pleasantly surprised by the noise.

I purchased these tires based on a lot of information I had read and I don't regret it. The feeling in turns is like on rails, braking is confident, on asphalt there's a pleasant rustle of studs, moderate - not annoying, on ice everything is predictable - the studs work 100%. The main thing is that the feeling of confidence doesn't leave on any surface. Soft and very comfortable. Michelin is as always at the top, for me - the best.
