Good quiet tire, holds the road well in winter on ice as well as on snow.
After 40,000 km of driving in both Moscow and the region all studs remain in place.

The tire has been used in standard conditions in Moscow. Overall, everything is fine. There is a loss of a couple of studs, but winter is still ongoing. The main drawback is that the price in standard size is unjustifiably high.

High-quality and safe tyre, the car stands on the road like on rails, in reasonable speed frames of the winter road, which is confirmed by testing. I will take it again.

Drove on all X-Ice North (studs). In my opinion, the 3rd is the most quiet, but less aggressive on ice. As a result, I concluded that the 3rd X-Ice on a not severe winter (with a minimum of ice) and for frequent driving on ice, more studs are needed. Good tires, mid-range consumer quality. While new, they gripped snow very well and confidently held on ice. Soft, the car floats in turns and oversteers. Disappointing was the very rapid loss of tread, the top lugs, one stud remaining, by the third season, chunks of rubber started to wear off, had to be junked. Good tires, but I'll look for something more reliable and with more balanced characteristics.

Excellent model - the tread bites well, sits firmly and makes relatively little noise. On the mixed mess of snow, ice, mud and water, the tires did not lead to skidding, which is especially important during lane changes on cleared roads.
