Size: 215/55 R16. Mid-range tire. Made in Russia. Probably because of this, it was poorly balanced. Not worth its money. In service for 3 seasons. Lost and mangled (!!!) half of the studs in the first winter. By the end of the third season, there were about 15-20% of them left. Acoustic comfort is average. On a highway in freshly fallen snow, they oscillate strongly, you're driving on needles.

Third season (Kom Republic, equal to the regions of the Far North). Disappointment began to creep in with use. At intersections, often there is a slide, in a good ascent from a standstill not always goes, you need to accelerate (sliding and digs in). On the route, there were no questions, holds the road, gets out of the slush well (does not throw), on the third season, studs are massively breaking (at the moment, almost none), recently drove

Spring 2019 arrived, and I decided to replace the tyres for my mother-in-law. When the tyres were removed, I was extremely surprised to find that there were no studs on all four wheels. However, the studs were not worn out, but rather they had completely disintegrated. The tire's carcass was present, but the stud itself was missing. I was unpleasantly surprised with the Michelin (made in Russia), which had covered 20,000 km in total over four

Tires are terrible, most of the studs were broken over the winter, both front and back. I would not recommend these tires to anyone. Too bad I didn't save the receipt, can't return them under warranty. Bought them from a different store.

Michelin X-Ice North 3 215/65 R16 102T XL total disappointment. The first two seasons were great, lost only two studs on one wheel, but during the third season the studs started to come off rapidly, absolutely terrible, in the end 80% loss of studs.

36 years of driving experience. Bought tires in 2015. First winter season lost 2 studs on front wheels - not critical. In the second season, lost half of the studs, road holding is still good unless worn low, drives well on snow, enters well on ice when all studs are on (currently slides outwards). Am satisfied with the tire, love speed, but think about it, start from a standstill without traction. Noise during driving is better than Bridgestone 700

For 2 seasons of use all studs are broken.
In other respects the tire is good, but on the ice without studs it’s terrible, on other surfaces it’s 4.
Very quiet and soft, in terms of comfort - 5. No noise at all without studs.

The tire is not bad, but from this brand and at this price point, you expect a better product (2/3 studs fell out after 2 years of winter use).

Excellent tires, purchased after reading many reviews.

They run great on loose snow. They tromp over drifts. Behavior on ice is flawless, predictable, and they hold the car well. Unlike the Yoko, which behaves like a cow on ice... doesn’t grip, doesn’t brake. In this regard, the Michelin people have made excellent tires on a level with Nokian, or maybe even better.

Quiet, very quiet compared to Cordiant Polaris

Tire size: 205/60R16. Vehicle horsepower: 180. Driving style: varied depending on the situation (family-oriented, conservative driving with a pensioner's style, solo driving with occasional spirited driving for track days). Ride comfort: quiet and soft (even too soft, as I've found myself lifting the beam for winter driving). Performance on ice: disappointing (compared to the XIN 2 on my previous vehicle).
