I live on the Yamal Peninsula beyond the Arctic Circle. The tire really impressed me. To understand my driving experience, I have 22 years of driving under my belt. A huge plus is driving on a snow-covered tundra. The tread does not slip like the Nokian Hakkapeliitta. The tread self-clean. I drove aggressively on a winter route in a blizzard and it was great, even considering I have an automatic. Here in our region, many people have learned to

The road holds perfectly! I enter turns without fear, braking on ice and asphalt like in summer on dry pavement! I haven't noticed any increase in noise.
Before this, the Nokian Hakkapeliitta 7 SUV and Dunlop SP Winter Ice were on.

When choosing a tire, I was guided by reviews. All the positive reviews I wrote earlier are confirmed. I would recommend it to everyone. I put three points below because I still don't know.

Hi everyone! My acquaintance with this model started 3 years ago when my wife got it for her Chevrolet Cruze. You might believe it or not, but it never got stuck in the snow twice in the winter. The tire has been checked and it's good for long-distance driving, it's been on snow and ice for all kinds of conditions and I have no complaints. I recommended it to my brother-in-law for his Jetta in size 205/65/16 -he's happy

Handling on dry road: It's a winter tire... How to evaluate - it handles
Handling on snow - drifts in turns are ensured even at low speed.
Braking efficiency - On ice - brake in advance and don't rush, it's better to brake with the "engine". On snow - the tread and studs will turn into a solid ice block on the wheel, it's better to brake with the "engine".
Resistance to aquaplaning - good, not ideal. Depending on what you compare it to.
Handling on wet road - it handles, but it's a winter studded tire...
Price justification - not justified. The old Hakka - the price/quality ratio is justified here. Yes, and now a dozen eggs costs 150 rubles... What's the point in complaining about the price)
Comfort in motion + quietness in motion - In the city, there are no complaints - it's quiet, minimal noise in the cabin, you can say there is none. If you accelerate to over 120 km/h, a steady hum appears, at first, I suspected the hub bearing, but no, it's the tire. If you evaluate comfort as confidence in safety - it's not there.
Manufacturing quality - hard to evaluate, until the studs come off...
Handling on ice - yes, like on snow, drifts will occur 100% in turns.
Course stability - the wheel is straight, the car itself drifts at a speed of over 90 on loose snow, freshly treated with reagents... Don't hurry and you'll be happy at a speed of 60-80 km/h.
Speed characteristics - the tire justifies its speed index. For low-power cars, without haste.
I didn't like the tires at all. There's no sense of confidence or safety. I used to use Hakka 7, Michelin Alpin is a much better tire, incomparable. If the price of the Michelin wasn't so crazy, I would have bought it. But times are like that now.- Vehicle:

I was thoroughly disappointed with these tires, a complete letdown. Previously, I had driven an Opel Mokka with Nokian Hakka 7 winter tires for several years, and the experience was like driving in the summer. After purchasing a Kashkai on credit, I decided to save money and opted for the Goodyear Ultragrip Ice Arctic SUV. I immediately felt the difference. When cornering, the car could skid, and when accelerating, it often wheel-spun (I don't drive aggressively at all), and it held the road poorly. When driving on loose but slightly compacted snow, the tread would clog, and the car would float. My patience wore off when I discovered a bulge on one of the tires, even though I hadn't hit anything with that wheel or driven over anything. I decided to buy Nokian Nordman 8 and immediately felt the difference. In short: for me, Goodyear tires do not exist at this point.

Hello everyone, I've purchased the Goodyear UltraGrip Ice Arctic tires, and they're simply a dream, they don't make any noise and hold the road perfectly, they do wonderfully on loose snow, I don't feel any vibrations, they're not slipping. They're just a pleasure to drive. I'd give them five stars. I'm definitely going to order more for the next couple of seasons. By the way, I've checked and all the studs are still in place,

Class tire. Running in the north on dirt roads. Drove two winters well. Tire tread is soft, that's why I lost a wheel, got a puncture, it went unnoticed, and when I noticed it already had bitten through. That's why I bought tire pressure sensors. Now I'm not afraid to drive, since I don't want to lose such a great tire. Holds the road on an unclean road. Lost a few studs, but it could have happened in an emergency

I bought Goodyear UltraGrip Ice Arctic SUV 265/60 R18 in September 2018. It's an excellent tire, but there are two drawbacks. - Sideslip when entering a turn and noise, which can be tolerated. I was using the same tire on a 2018 Nissan X-Trail at the same time. The impression is exactly the same. The sideslip was somewhat reduced by the stabilizer and the headrest, but even with the additional soundproof

Great tire, still fairly new, I've only ever driven on Hakkapeliitta studs (from Finland, not the crap from Vsevolozhsk) and never on spikes. Decided to try them out as the studs on my old tire had developed a bulge after 10 years and I had to say goodbye to them. After studs on snow and ice, there's no disputing this, it's noisier, I don't know how it will be in thaw,
