I used to use the ULTRA GRIP 500 and was very pleased with it, so this is what I opted for again.
Acceleration and braking on snow and ice at high altitude is a bit noisy above 0 degrees.
During my test drive I had an unpleasant experience - a sidewall on one of the tires burst quite violently at around 60 km/h in the city centre.
I don't know if this was down to the quality of the tire or the- Vehicle:

Before the onset of winter, every year he would stud around 50-120 spikes (annually) and now there are about 30 "government-issue" spikes left on all 4 tires, with mostly hard alloy spikes popping out

The tires have shown themselves to be the best.
And the benefits of them in Norilsk at -40°C, snow, ice. The tires after standing in the frost remain round. They hold the road well.- Vehicle:

I've been using these tires on my second car already. I want to say that the price/quality ratio is 5.
From the downsides, I can only note the noise, otherwise, there are no complaints.- Vehicle:

Among the advantages - the tires do not hum, they are soft and cheap
Among the disadvantages, after 3000 km, several spikes are already missing, despite the fact that driving is very slow in the city without emergency acceleration and braking, which, to be honest, was very surprising and took away the desire to buy similar brand tires, very strong skidding both on snow and on ice, aquaplaning! I would give these tires a 3, and that's only because they were bought cheaply, I would never buy them again. Pirelli and Nexen are much more preferable!

I'm buying this tire model for the second time. The first time I bought it on recommendation, I decided not to save money and never regretted it. The tires are strong, heavy and noisy. Very. It feels like you're driving a caterpillar tractor with a propeller. As it seemed to me, the studs don't fly out especially. In general, I'm satisfied, especially if you can buy them in the summer on sale. It's a great option for long-term use, after four seasons I sold them at a pretty good price. I sold them because I sold the car, otherwise I would have kept driving them. The tread was more than half worn out.

I bought it on sale with a decent discount. The tire is not entirely fresh in terms of production date, but it was made in Germany. It has soft rubber with studs, is noisy on asphalt, handles snow well, and grips on ice. There were no issues during balancing. It justifies its price.

On snowy slush at speed, you need to be more careful, the car needs to be caught on the road. Maybe it's also due to the width of the tire. On dry and wet asphalt, the handling is ideal.
