I got these tires for my new car in December at the showroom, where I had them put on right away. I bought them on an impulse, and the only one that matched my size was the Dunlop. This winter, we've had our fair share of all kinds of weather, including black ice on the Volgograd-Saratov highway. I can say that on thick, white ice, the tires handle and brake nicely at speeds up to 90km/h. They also grip well

I've been using this studded tire for 2 seasons now, and I'm really pleased with it. The quality is excellent. Yes, it's noisy, but that's when it's warm and on asphalt. Always helped me get out of snow and on ice. Aggressive tread. I'm really pleased. Car: Chevrolet Lacetti.

So I used 185/70/14 tires on my Toyota Caldina (FWD) throughout a full season (2011-2012) and ran them for 1000km with careful break-in.
1. Pros: Good handling at high speeds (100-120km/h) on city roads, 100% tread remaining (I drive in a relaxed manner), Low cost (3,000 rubles per tire), Tire is well-balanced, made in Japan.

First time I put snow tires, previously driven with the summer tire, The first impressions were terrible, it felt like driving a tram, I turned the music up, after a couple of thousand kilometers it got better, but still, considering the car's soundproofing on a "three" it was very loud in the cabin, especially at speeds above 80 km/h, Other than that I have no complaints, by the way, after 20 thousand kilometers I lost only two studs on all four

I bought DUNLOP WINTER ICE01 tires and I'm very satisfied, they grip the road well. Relatively aggressive, but ice isn't their forte, in terms of noise, they're quite acceptable. I replaced my old Nokian Nord Master; with these, my head is splitting from the roar. All in all, a good budget tire.

In city mode, it's great. Wet asphalt is like a second skin. Quiet until 60 km/h. Beyond that, it's not critical. Don't they drive in the snow? Learn to drive on it. No problems with 25 cm snowdrifts. In the city, deeper ones are rare, before Nokian Nordman+ were - they hummed like a plane, and the same traction. As many people, so many opinions.

On my first car, Michelins UG Extreme tyres were fitted, and I must say I expected more from studs. In 2011 I bought a "Fielder 4WD" with Yokohama IG 30 tyres (brand new), and I was over the moon! However, with the first snowfalls my joy turned to a nightmare, the car was unsteerable and unbrakeable on urban slush altogether. And then I remembered how great it was on stud tyres (

It performed well on the first 500 km. until the half-millimeter sipes on the tread disappeared, and then it was like skiing on ice with studs. The tread is big and the pressure is small on the studs, and when I brake (accelerate) on ice, the studs almost don't work. Much less so on the snow. I won't even mention the noise - safety comes first.

I lost 2 studs on the first winter and 4 more on the second. The other 3 tires still have studs in place. It's gripping well. (I have a 185/70 14) Whoever says it's a snow tire, I recommend changing the seal between the steering wheel and the seat). On a flat road it's like riding on rails, but on uneven roads it wanders. And it makes a lot of noise, especially on asphalt. Notably, I

I bought these tires from acquaintances at a discount, before that I was driving on Gislaved NF5. As a summary, I can say that these tires are suitable for our winter city conditions. On snowy or icy roads, they behave not very predictably, the car skids, and you have to brake in advance with a large margin.
Next time I will definitely take Gislaved - this rubber is head and shoulders above, confidence and safety on the road come
