The Winrun brand, along with RoadClaw, belongs to the Chinese company Winrun Tyre Co.,Ltd., located in Guangzhou. The company's main activity is the production of tires for passenger cars and small-capacity commercial vehicles.
The UHP tire lineup is represented by three models - R330/R330RF, KF997, and KF7700. The target audience for the 330 model is car owners who value not only excellent handling and traction but also a high level of comfort in such products. In turn, the other two flagship tires are distinguished by uncompromising grip, especially on wet surfaces, as well as uncompromising precision in handling.
The model range for crossovers is represented by three tires, two of which are designed for highway driving, and one for any surface, including off-road. The highway tires are distinguished by an increased contact patch, which guarantees reliable traction on dry surfaces. In turn, the All Terrain tire, with its universal tread, remains effective on dirt roads.
Currently, the brand's tire range is in the process of formation. This is why there is only one model in the "touring" category - R380. But it's impossible to call it "basic," since the manufacturer has applied quite expensive solutions in it. In particular, this is an asymmetric tread pattern, a lightweight frame made of synthetic materials, and a rubber compound with an increased "silica" content.
There is also only one tire in the Winrun range that makes up the lineup of models for small-capacity commercial vehicles - minivans and light trucks. R350 is designed for use in warm weather. It is favorably distinguished by improved handling and traction, both on dry and wet surfaces, a wear-resistant rubber compound with a high "silica" content, and a tread pattern with rigid shoulder zones.
In this segment, Winrun offers only one model - MT305. It was developed specifically for sandy and earthy off-road surfaces with reduced bearing capacity. In such conditions, it is distinguished by its ability to effectively realize traction, a low risk of mechanical damage, and a comfortable soft ride on uneven surfaces. At the same time, thanks to the use of computer-aided design tools, the company's engineers were able to maintain a decent level of traction properties and acoustic comfort on paved roads.
