Tyre reviews Dunlop Grandtrek AT5. Page 2 43

Tires are great!!! On the track no worse, and no louder than regular ones. Not particularly afraid of aquaplaning, directional stability for AT is five. In the mud within reasonable limits, and sharp stones and large gravel at low speed are excellent. I didn't find any cuts or bulges. The rubber is elastic and durable. At minus five it's still okay, but any lower it becomes stiff and turns into skis. I definitely recommend these tires!

Excellent tires. On asphalt, they are reasonably noisy, on off-road they hold up well. I was looking for universal tires, and these fit the bill. They are not afraid of curbs, and we drove on mountain roads with sharp rocks without getting any bulges or cuts. I definitely recommend them.

Excellent Tires! Probably the best tires I've ever had, and I've had a lot of them.
They don't make noise, hold the road perfectly, and don't squeal when cornering. In heavy rain, with puddles on the road, they allow you to confidently maintain a speed far beyond the speed limit. Aquaplaning starts at around 140-150.
They also handle dirt roads pretty well.
In my opinion, the best ratio of price/quality/universality!?- Vehicle:

Throughout the entire period of use, the impression of these tires is positive. In the summer, during highway driving, the tire does not float, and in the fall-spring period, it does not become too hard. The directional stability on asphalt is excellent. I specially tested the tire on a gravel road at speeds of 90-100, and it holds well, with the car behaving predictably. Steep climbs with dry rocky terrain and trodden clay were overcome without complications, taking into account the reduction gear. In general, I did not identify any problems with traction on rough terrain. In moderate mud, at a pressure of 1 atm, it did not slip, with standard, cast disks. In the mud, it gets dirty, but when wheelspin occurs, it self-cleans, although not eagerly. I didn't use a shovel even once. Aquaplaning starts at a speed of 80, and at 90, it's already hard to keep the car on course, simply floating, at a pressure of 2.0 in the front and 2.2 in the back, and with average load. The wear resistance is very pleasing. Over 5 years, I made 4 worthy trips on this tire, 2 times with highway mileage of 11,000+ and about 1,000 kilometers of off-road driving, once 4,000 kilometers of highway + 300 kilometers of off-road, and once 2,000 kilometers of highway + 1,000 kilometers of off-road. And, of course, daily trips to work, stores, and fishing. The tread still has about 50% left.
In general, for moderate use, I highly recommend it. I chose it very carefully and thoroughly researched the internet. The tire is excellent, and I didn't even notice the noise, yes, something rustles, but it doesn't bother me. When using the tire in the USA, during sharp braking, it doesn't lose traction, gripping until the very end!

Excellent universal tires. Optimal combination of softness and wear resistance. Low-noise. Not prone to aquaplaning, hold the road well on muddy terrain, sand, wet snow, if, of course, the driver is friends with his head.
A rigid and sturdy sidewall allows you to move confidently over rocky terrain, logs and other hazardous debris on the road.
I haven't tried it at low pressure (below 1.2 atm) yet.

The tires are excellent and versatile. Sharp mountain rocks did not puncture them, curbs do not cause them to bulge, and they handle well on the highway without floating. If it's only asphalt, you can find a quiet highway. At minus three degrees and on ice, they braked well and held the road normally. The rubber did not become stiff, which means they used good rubber! You can survive the first frosts with four-wheel drive, then I put on studded tires for winter.
I really liked the tires! I recommend them.

1st car Toyota RAV-4, 1st generation. Excellent. My maximum speed 140 km/h. 90% - highway. Pressure 2.1. Size 215/70-16. Stable, not very noisy (noisier than road). Aquaplaning at a speed of just over 110 km/h (in heavy rain).
2nd car Subaru Forester, 2011. Excellent. My maximum speed 160 km/h, but short distances. Pressure 2.1. Size 215/65 - 16. Stable, no noise in the cabin. In heavy rain, speed was no higher than 110 km/h, the car is obedient, stable.

Everything would be fine, but they're messing around with the quality of the steel, the top and side wear, on a single tire set you don't change it, although the balance is at the edge 75/50 grams.

Good day.
If we consider that it's an AT, then it's super.
Their main feature, I think, is that they are very quiet.- Vehicle:
