Tyre reviews Dunlop Grandtrek AT5. Page 1 43

The tire is good for the highway and for driving on light and medium off-road terrain, with almost no noise on the highway, acceptable behavior on a dirt road, and no aquaplaning on a wet surface. In the rain, there were no complaints about handling either. The tire is new, so I have yet to test it in all conditions. Soon, it will start to get cold, and I will test it on light minus on ice and snow. If it behaves well, I

I think the model is very good. It handles great and the most important thing is that it's quiet. Although I was expecting a different effect. In the rain and on a wet road, the handling is excellent. And the main thing is that I've already had a chance to try it out in the mud. I got out of it easily and without any problems. From my point of view, the model is very good. Now, it's just a matter of practice and different conditions of

I purchased these tires to replace my worn-out Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015. I have quite a lot of experience with Yokohama tires (three previous personal vehicles and a company car), and I've always been satisfied with them. However, on my Grand Vitara, they performed somewhat strangely, specifically - they were very noisy. I don't know what caused it, but it seemed like the tire's camber and toe angles would resonate at some point and start humming. Maybe it was because the tires were not in their native size, but a bit larger.
When choosing new wheels, I was guided by the following requirements:
- a proven, understandable manufacturer
- the ability to drive off the asphalt
- not noisy on the highway
- an adequate price
- availability in Russia
I chose the Dunlop Grandtrek AT5, which meets all the requirements.
I'm completely satisfied with the purchase. But there's one "but".
I bought them in the same size as the previous ones, but the wheels turned out to be about a centimeter larger in reality. Accordingly, when in extreme positions, they rub against the fenders.
But that's a minor issue, the wheels are great. Soft, quiet. I recommend them to everyone.- Vehicle:

A thousand kilometers isn't enough to fully evaluate the benefits of this tire. Before I had the dusty tires from this company, I drove around 90,000 kilometers and they performed great. I wouldn't recommend using them in the winter. I hope the AT5 will also last a long time.

Good tire, hums like a standard one, but on asphalt in a groaned by heavy-duty trucks tread behaves perfectly, holds the road and doesn't flutter, soft. Same on dirt, big mud not tried yet, but considering the presence of side tread lugs will behave much better than standard.

I've driven over 7,000 km on them, compared to the standard Dunlop AT22 tires, they are much softer, quieter, and perform better in rainy weather. Also, they are more confident on off-road terrain. I haven't tested them in winter conditions (that's why I gave one star) because I have separate winter wheels with tires. I recommend purchasing 265/60R18.

Dunlop Grandtrek AT5 215/70 R16 100T. That's what you need for a light crossover. I use this brand and model on a Toyota RAV-4 of the first generation and a Subaru Forester (2011). Excellent tires. I use them exclusively in the summer.

Dunlop Grandtrek AT5 215/65 R16 98H. Only positive emotions!!! Soft, comfortable, reliable! There are no downsides! Didn't drive on snow and ice. Strictly a summer option for me. Speeds of up to 160 km/h (not for an extended period)

Excellent AT tires.
Glass, gravel, wet grass....
it grips well, meets its purpose.
On the highway, it's also excellent, but I usually drive 130, sometimes up to 150, the road holds perfectly.- Vehicle:

Excellent tires excellently hold wet asphalt, easily pass through a little mud, well keep the road without calculating by rut, practically inaudible at speed (135), in my opinion, just excellent tires. Big thank you for fast delivery.
