I took Continentals with my new car in 2011, it's been 8 winters now and I'm still very satisfied. Of course, I've become a bit more cautious, the studs have worn down a bit, but everything is still perfect. I'm already looking at the next season and probably will take Konti Ice 2 again. Tire

For 18,000 km, I lost 3 studs - 1 & 2 on the front wheels. Acceptable.
Accelerates & brakes well. However, cannot say it’s much better than non-studded (comparing to Pirelli Ice Snow).
Still, has a permanent four-wheel drive.
Driving on snow is a delight, if the speed is low! Even want to drive on snowbanks.

I don't quite understand these tires.

They hold well on a straight road on an icy track, but in a turn, I feel like the traction is on the verge of slipping. There is a slight slide, but it's a predictable and easily controlled situation.

It seemed to me that at temperatures below -15 degrees, the tires become stiff and on dry asphalt, they do not even slow down at all. Complete wheel lockup at the start of movement and ABS

SIZE FOR HOVER N5 235/65-R17 Very nice. Keeps the road perfectly, gives a great ride even in the harsh Karelian winter. A single directional tread design which initially surprised me. Fitted on the proving ground at the tyre manufacturer's, the reason being that the German company only supplies left-hand drive tyres, to avoid confusion. Anyways, definitely recommend. In my experience better than the Finnish NOKIA Hakkapeliitta.

Excellent tire, noise, on the back of siped competitors, at a low level, road feel is not nervous. I recommend.

I would like to share my opinion on these tyres.

I bought the original German-made ContiIce Contact 225/40 R18. They lasted for 2 seasons, but during the inspection this year, I discovered huge cracks on the surface (about 10 cm). Obviously, now it's going to be a waste in the trash, inside and out. The question is: what kind of rubbish was this made of? The same situation happened with Nokian Hakka Z (
