Excellent tires. Came on the BMW 320D F 30D factory fitted only Run flat. Very hard in the city, normal on the track. But there is a minute. The weight of one tire is 13kg, fuel consumption is higher, suspension works worse, in potholes the car is "alive". After 25,000 km of driving, I bought and installed the same size tire 225/50/17 but not run flat. And everything changed

Prior to this I had 2 seasons of Nokian i3. The tyre was alright but wore down fairly quickly. This year I have fitted ContiSportContact 5. Now I don't want another tyre! This tyre is not quiet. It is silent!!! On roads with potholes and small cracks it swallows up without a sound and vibration - just music. I hadn't planned to write a review, but the tyre has really impressed me!

I bought these tires for the summer of 2016. I've been running on them for two seasons now, and I am completely satisfied. The tread has good grip, whether it's wet or dry, and I haven't had any unexpected slips. The only time I've gotten into an emergency stop, I thought for sure I was going to lock up my wheels, but the tires really came through. At the time of this review, the tires have about 30,000 kilometers on them

Tires came off the factory line as 245 45 18, made in the Czech Republic, with a protective inner layer against small punctures, until I saw it in action. Excellent tire for an active driving style. Quick wear, at the time of writing, they have gone around 25,000 miles, the fronts are almost to the rain sensor, the rears are less worn. Driving style: more relaxed. Very noisy, non directional winter, much quieter.

Excellent premium tires, one major drawback, sadly only two seasons and time for new ones, price around 45000-50000 and would buy without hesitation.

I installed summer runflat tires, and on dry roads, they handle perfectly on the ix.

During emergency braking, they work well with ABS, even without grinding, and I was able to brake from 160 km/h. On the highway, they don't drift, and the steering wheel stays straight. On wet roads, entering a turn at 130 km/h, they don't hydroplane, which is commendable. They handle puddles with ease, but once I did experience a slight slip, a mini heart attack. The price is high, especially now it's very expensive, with all discounts it's almost 68,000 (March 2022). I've driven about 5,000 km on them, and the wear is within reasonable limits.

Now the negatives: they're a bit noisy. Maybe it's due to the lack of wheel arch sound insulation, but it's audible in the cabin. They're stiff because they're runflat, and you can feel any potholes.

In all other respects, Continental is a worthy tire.

Overall, the tire does not cause any complaints. You won't be thrown off course, you'll brake well on both dry and wet asphalt, and you'll enter turns like a professional racing driver. With good sound insulation, you won't hear it, but without it, you'll hear it every minute and understand that you're a happy owner of the Continental ContiSportContact5 tires.

And now for the unpleasant part.

High wear. If you have high mileage, an aggressive driving style, you'll be visiting the PitStop for a full set of new tires after a season.

Be careful when parking, as the sidewall is very soft. I think it's unnecessary to mention potholes.

Excellent tire
Most of the pros and cons have already been noted, I can only confirm them -
1. It wears out fairly quickly - I managed to get only 1 season out of it (about 25,000 km, but with very dynamic driving on Crimean serpentine roads and M4).
2. It makes noise at temperatures below 15°C (but if the temperature is above - it's completely silent).

This tire came with my car's standard equipment with Run Flat technology. The tire is good, but the sidewalls are too soft. I hit a small pothole twice, and the sidewalls got damaged. It wore out in two seasons, with the center almost completely gone. The pressures were not exactly correct. Once you start driving over 140, it goes down very quickly. The winter tire also doesn't last much longer.

Excellent tyre, good in dry and especially in rainy weather. Bought in March 2014, R17 225-45 - 5400 rubles per tyre. Holding up super!!!
Big minus, that 2 front wheels wore off in 15,000 km, 1 season, and I didn't resurface them, main mileage on the track, rear ones in order.
