Tyre reviews Continental ContiPremiumContact 834
Good tires
Contact 2.Octavia 1.8T. Ran 5,000 km. Comfortable, well-handling tire. Quiet up to 80 km/h, above 100-110 appears a slight understated howling or whistling... The car has additional soundproofing.
Pros: handling, comfort
Cons: noisy at high speeds, price- Rate
They hold up as well as the OEMs on my new Kia Venga. I bought the car in winter but put on summer tires. At -10 degrees, in snow and ice, they are quite grippy and predictable up to 40-50 km/h (straight line) and 60-65 km/h in curves. I didn't dare drive any faster on a new car. After two weeks of driving on ice and snow, there was only one attempt at a slide-out (sl

Overall, the tire is excellent, I didn't like the handling maneuver (soft carcass), I compared it to PIRELLI DRAGON, but in terms of comfort (absorbing bumps), smoothness, and quietness, CONTI significantly outperforms the overly stiff (carcass) DRAGON, and it's also not bad on icy slush.

Hello everyone! I'm driving a taxi in the Moscow region, the roads are all sorts of things, there are a lot of dirt roads and the asphalt leaves much to be desired. I've been driving for nearly three seasons on Nexen tires, almost 80,000 km, and I'll commend them right away - not withstanding the good potholes, there are no bulges. The tire is noisy, the ridges creak on the asphalt, but it's quieter than a

Ran 40,000 kilometers so far with only good impressions.
Often drive on gravel roads with large chippings. Not a single sidewall cut, previously the tire was killed off at 30,000 kilometers. I would recommend buying it, it's worth its money.
One problem, they are only installed on the production line, rarely found in free sale.

Very good properties in summer conditions, excellent for tight mountain turns. Wide in wet weather, poor at the fair in snow, moderate to reasonable wear, but for good grip may wear something lost.

The tire performance is average. On smooth tracks everything is OK, but performance goes to disappointing when driving on uneven tracks. The car searches for the right direction on rough tracks. It even gets difficult when braking sharply. The tires give me the feeling that I'm running on flat tires! If this feeling happens more than 25 times now. Forced me to stop and check that everything is in order, but it doesn't give confidence in these tires. With 400 Nm of torque Conti has

Large rubber. Excellent grip and braking in any situation, except in snow. Now, with 44,000km but still 5mm tread, it is possible to start feeling aquaplaning for the tire width.

Even if my mileage was not very high, because I use my car mainly in the city, I acknowledge that these tires are good even for this type of use. Moreover, the roads here in Greece are in a pretty bad condition, but the tires seem to behave calmly in such difficult conditions. The problem is that they are much more expensive than I can afford when it's time to change them, so I will opt for the corresponding PremiumContact 2, which, as proven by better (and

Huge improvement over the Firehawks that the dealer had installed, in terms of traction and stopping. As for noise - well it was a quiet ride, and I would have had the stereo on so I wouldn't have heard the tires unless they were making one hell of a racket.
