DescriptionDescription Continental ContiPremiumContact
The ContiPremiumContact tires stand out for their high braking performance compared to regular tires. Under normal operating conditions, the ContiPremiumContact tire has a narrow surface, which protects against aquaplaning, and when braking, it has the property of expanding. Due to this property, an improvement in the ability to transfer braking forces to the asphalt is achieved.
Comfort and safety while driving are ensured by the asymmetrical profile of the ContiPremiumContact tire. The outer shoulder zone is closed and has a solid profile, which guarantees stable behavior when cornering and fairly precise steering. Due to the increased contact surface when cornering, the traction with the road and improved braking characteristics are improved. The closed outer shoulder zone significantly reduces the noise level.
Along the entire circumference of the middle area of the ContiPremiumContact tire tread, wide grooves pass, combined with transverse ones, which guarantee optimal water drainage.
For many years, when manufacturing the tread mixture, silica mixture has been used as a filler instead of soot. The main advantage of using silicon dioxide is that it can enter into a compound with rubber polymers. And as a result, the silica mixture significantly reduces the rolling resistance of the ContiPremiumContact tire, as well as improves traction and longitudinal stability when moving on a wet road surface.

Contact 2.Octavia 1.8T. Ran 5,000 km. Comfortable, well-handling tire. Quiet up to 80 km/h, above 100-110 appears a slight understated howling or whistling... The car has additional soundproofing.
Pros: handling, comfort
Cons: noisy at high speeds, price- Rate
They hold up as well as the OEMs on my new Kia Venga. I bought the car in winter but put on summer tires. At -10 degrees, in snow and ice, they are quite grippy and predictable up to 40-50 km/h (straight line) and 60-65 km/h in curves. I didn't dare drive any faster on a new car. After two weeks of driving on ice and snow, there was only one attempt at a slide-out (sl

Overall, the tire is excellent, I didn't like the handling maneuver (soft carcass), I compared it to PIRELLI DRAGON, but in terms of comfort (absorbing bumps), smoothness, and quietness, CONTI significantly outperforms the overly stiff (carcass) DRAGON, and it's also not bad on icy slush.
