Tyre reviews Continental ContiCrossContact AT 106

I've been driving my new Chevrolet Niva LE on these tires, with a current mileage of 26,900 km. The tire has proven itself excellent on both asphalt and off-road, with a 50/50 split between on-road and off-road driving, both in winter and summer. On asphalt, it's relatively quiet (the Niva's transfer case is louder). It handles wet roads well.

A pretty decent tire in terms of price and traction. Used for 2 summers - clay, spongy fields - all great, within reason, of course, since it is an AT. Don't even try to go out in the winter; even four-wheel drive won't save you; the tire is purely for the summer. Hard compound, 4 mm tread depth. The only downside is that it collects stones in the tread.

Good all-terrain tyres for daily driving. Strong and comfortable. Mud unsets quickly, as expected. Medium wear life, expensive price. Used on various surfaces (rocks, sand, mud and long asphalt runs).

Installed before the trip to Crimea. They have proven themselves well. Minimal noise for this type of tire, good traction on dry asphalt. Climbed to the mountains, to the waterfalls - no complaints. Spent time on the shore close to the sea and where, in my own eyes, "special" SUVs were getting stuck, I felt confident. The tires have proven themselves well on wet asphalt.

I bought tires at NIVU along with the rims at Mosavtoshina. It's a great store. Everything went smoothly. The price was normal. There is a free tire mounting service right there. The tires themselves pleased me. They work well for medium off-road driving, at the same time, they handle 140 km/h on the highway. They look brutal, and that's how they drive too.
The downsides are that small pebbles get stuck in

After fitting the tyres to my Pajero 4, which is notorious for its stiff suspension, the ride became a lot more comfortable. The increased noise (almost like on winter tyres) doesn't detract from the comfort of the softer ride. On asphalt the behaviour is perfectly worthy – no problems. In the mud I've only tried it a few times – it gets bogged down a bit faster than the Bridgestones – it gets me about 15 metres into the mud, then the

Handles well on mud, also okay in the city, noise is present, but minimal, I got used to not noticing- Vehicle:

Continental crosscontact AT M+S.
Short: Very deep tread, durable, noisy, dislikes mud, robust tread and sidewall, expensive, quite heavy on its own.
Further details. Swapped from Kia Optima to Land Rover, which raised the vehicle, and the center of gravity felt different, so the driving style changed from moderately aggressive when cornering on a sedan to more gentle on an off-road vehicle. I swapped in late October 2014, the roads were

The on-road durability is improved after 1-2,000 km.
Soft, noisy. Never been in the mud, but I don't think I'm expecting any surprises, as an AT and a few chains in the box would be nice. I like their supposed strength. However, they're a little heavier than standard, harder to install on a disc and worse to balance.
Despite mainly driving on highways, I find them pleasant.

City and off-road tires in dry weather. Excellent on asphalt. Folds in mud and the car becomes unsteerable. Goes fairly well in the snow, but loses braking, it's visible that the snow is sticking (dry). I was blown down a snowy hill, stopped by a birch tree. On the DEFECTS was a standard one, I drove for 4 years, I hunt and fish. The tread is worn off, more so on the front wheels, I put it
