I use the TS790 for winter driving only. My rear-wheel drive C230 with summer tires does not handle snow/ice well. I felt a huge difference in improvement with the TS790 over my summer tires in snowy/icy conditions. The only thing to keep your car from hitting another car/structure is tire traction. You can get by with all season tires on front or four-wheel drive cars/trucks. You will need to have a set of winter tires if you have a rear-wheel drive

Holds well, but seemed a bit noisy
rolled a season. no particular complaints. a bit noisy, but that's just my opinion.. good on wet road, but not worth driving through puddles. wear is within normal limits, but weak sidewalls, although I usually enter turns sharply and at speed. will leave this one for the next season. I drive it on civic 4d

Very good in wet conditions and in snow, as well. Dry braking should be a bit better. I have the TS790 * model (OE for BMW).

Although the tire itself is fine, it was quite frustrating to learn that this tire has both with and without a rim version. If you are buying four, it does not cause any problem, but if you already have this tire and want to replace only one or two, be aware to order the exact one (the sample image is the same for both types on this page - not very helpful)
