First winter when I decided to try "siping" not studs. At first I was a bit apprehensive. I drove cautiously over ice and also over snow. However, I quickly gained confidence – the tires go absolutely great! And extremely quietly! I actually don't even hear them. I'm really happy with the rubber – now I've completely abandoned studs.

The Continental tyre came with the car as a gift from the previous owner last spring. I will say thank you very much to him because this tyre is top class, it grips the car well on wet roads, handles well in snow, but performs best on ice. And this is despite the fact that the tyre is two years old. So, after having used it for three winters already, I have yet to experience any problems with cracks or ageing. Otherwise, it would either be a defective product or

We brought a Citroen C5 from France with ContiVikingContact 5 tyres already fitted. As a non-studded tyre novice, I drove initially very cautiously. As I gained experience, I became bolder: the handling is great on both dry and slippery roads, ice and snow. Having driven it for a third winter, I have no complaints regarding wear. These tyres are fantastic, very quiet and smooth.

I recently heard or read somewhere that in Moscow, they are planning to ban studs. Apparently, it's all about ecology. I decided to be cautious and this winter I tried out studs, just to see if I could drive on them at all. I bought used ones, but in a decent condition to save money, since it's an experiment. It's been about two months now, and I haven't even thought about switching back to studs – everything is going well: it doesn't skid

When I switched to ContinentalVikingContact 5 two years ago, I realized that I would only be buying this tire from now on. It is simply fantastic. Soft, quiet and incredibly easy to handle. For a Southern climate, it's just perfect. It glides on slush and wet roads just as it does on ice. I also didn't experience any issues with it on snow, although deep snow is a rarity in our region.

Tested new tires on the first snow and ice. Want to say that the price is justified 100%. On an icy road in the morning, the handling is excellent, and on snow, I didn't get stuck, when in Moscow, there were massive traffic jams due to snow. On a clean road, everything is great. Silence in the cabin. (Life is good)

Last year I decided to try Continental's non-studded tyre, the ContiVikingContact 5, which is also known as 'the slipper'. To be honest, it pleasantly surprised me. Even compared to studded tyres, CVC did a great job - it handles ice well and has excellent directional stability. Of course, it's not for extreme driving, but I prefer to be more careful during the winter, in order not to take risks. Five out of five, I'm

Original summer - Kama Euro), dull, noisy and hard. Placed contact5 in November - a fairy tale, I admit, took a week to get used to, but... no noise, soft, on wet - like on dry, on ice haven't tried yet, but on ice - as always, should be cautious on any tire. Yes, doesn't like to follow a track. They recommend using it in the summer too, I don't know, at least I won't be

This is the tyre which all, interested in using its all-round year, should rely on, regardless of the weather conditions. Instead of purchasing a two sets of four tyres, one for summer and another for winter, it would be advisable to use a pair of Quadraxers in combination with a matching pair of tyres, depending on the season.

On dry and wet roads in the transitional season, superb.
Quality, quiet, soft tire. Ride very enjoyable.
BUT at temperatures around -20 and below completely hardens!
Ride becomes completely impossible. Immediately slides on braking. Especially scary on the highway, when colder than -20 and icing on the road. Lateral stability is relatively weak. Does not like the curb.
Conclusion: if you move in the city, taking into account the frosts- Vehicle:
