I've run these tires for two winters on my previous car and I liked them a lot more than all the Bridgestones, Koreans and Chinese tires. Handling on snow roads is excellent. Doesn't make any noise on asphalt. Overall, it's safe and comfortable. I'd recommend them to everyone.

I've been using winter tires for 4 seasons. Initially, I chose a friction tire from the top three ( Za Rulem's non-studded tire test), with Nokian Hakkappelita R as the main competitor. I settled on ContiViking 5 and I don't regret it. They are economical and quiet tires. On packed snow and ice they behave predictably.
