Great tire, grip is on point, also great mileage. Holds the launch perfectly, no overheating. The only minus is noise, and it's a bit hard on the ride. On the outside it looks like a weak sidewall, but after 30,000 km hasn't even cracked once.

I got these tires as a replacement for the Michelin PS3. After two years of use, the tire has shown itself to be excellent (compared to the same PS3).
The advantages: excellent handling on both dry and wet surfaces, excellent wear resistance (after 30,000 km, it wore off by half), robust sidewall (not a single puncture in two years, although there were many potholes).
The disadvantages: a bit noisy (

I purchased these tires for regular city driving and occasional track days. In the city, there are no complaints. On dry and wet asphalt, I feel confident and relaxed. Aquaplaning resistance is quite high, at least to my comfort threshold, as the tires' capabilities far exceed my driving limits. Even with aggressive driving, there is always plenty of grip available. The only way to get the tires to spin is to intentionally lock them up and launch with full throttle and disabled stability control systems.

Before that I had Yokohama Advan Neova AD08 in the same size 225/45/17 for a few seasons. After that one, this one seemed too soft, as if I was driving on winter tires. After 2.5 months of driving, after a puncture, a bulge appeared, which was very disappointing. Now I have to buy 2 wheels, since one is not for sale. After wear, I won't buy it again.

I read a lot of reviews online and decided to buy the ContiSportContact 5 in size 225 50 R17 98Y.
I previously had the Dunlop SP Sport2050, which came on my Lexus GS300 straight from the factory.
As soon as I got out of the service center, where I got the new tires, I immediately noticed the difference during turns! My slippery and soft car has stopped being a soft couch that would lean in

I got the car with Continentals ContiSportContact from the previous owner. I'd never used Continental before and now I know I've been missing out. They are excellent sports tyres, quite durable, plus they have excellent wet road performance, which is a must in Moscow where the roads are wet most of the year.

Here it is. My headache. I bought new tires in 2011. I drove 35000 km (2011 and the beginning of 2012). What can I say: the tires are bald. Yes, yes, yes. Bald. I bought them for my father. He drives calmly, even very calmly. The tires don't overheat, he doesn't drift. Calm driving. The tires simply wear out in front of your eyes. I've never seen anything like this

Outstanding performance everywhere except for cornering. Sidewalls are very thin and discs are far from stable, like PZero Rosso or Potenza, even at 0.3 bar. I was quite surprised to see they were manufactured in Romania. We will go back to Bridgestone or Pirelli, probably the last one as Potenzas are extremely noisy and short-lived.
